Been staying here for years. Great staff. Minor note - no electrical outlet at the desk - make sure you have a long enough power cord to reach the single outlet in the room (typically 5-10 feet from the desk).

It was a beautiful stay for our honeymoon. Lago di Garda is a must if you are on a romantic geataway in Italy! The hotel has a great view, its inexpensive, great staff and wonderful restaurant! I will return for more...

We spent 8 nights at the Benaco and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the quality of the hotel is... excellent. It's location is ideal and don't let the fact that it's on the main route around Garda put you off as noise from the road was not a problem. Within a few minutes walk you are at the Lakeside and in our travels saw no other hotel that we'd rather be in. One (minor) point of disappointment was that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room which whilst coffee/tea was available in the delightful breakfast room, it's not the same as waking and having a coffee on your balcony. This is a minor point though and goes to show that if this was the only failing we could find, it's all good and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. by a Hotels.com guest on 09/24/12

Travelling a family of 5 we had a good experience here. It fits its 3 star bill, having fairly small rooms with standard features. Close to the water front its a nice base to see Garda and the staff was overall friendly and helpful. We did however have a problem with the airconditioning dripping rapidly all night. The only thing the staff did was to […] tell us to place a bucket under it which off course didnt help our sleep. Leaving the hotel we got a slight discount, but that was it. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, which I still would recommend. Read more
