After a long day of traveling, missed connections there was a discrepancy with our reservation upon arrival. In addition the hotels appearance was not great as it is currently under construction adding additional rooms. This could have been a disaster, but it was not. The manager and hotel staff at Monchapet were warm, friendly and attended to all the details to honor the reservation. We were greeted each morning with our choice of cafe, tea or chocolate and fresh croissants and bread. The hotel is located with in walking distance of lovely Dijon. Restaurants, churches, parks the holiday lights were very accessible by foot. I would recommend Monchapet.

Many good restaurants in area. Hotel staff was very helpful but be aware that check-in time is 3 p.m. and they will not let you check-in even 5" before that time but will store your bags if you arrive earlier in the day. Nice hotel for a 1 night stay in Dijon and close to the historical centre sites. Within 10 minute walking distance to many restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms had contemporary decor, a bit on the minimalistic side, but comfortable. Bathroom was modern with a nice, powerful shower.

I would stay there again. I felt fortunate to havedecided to stay there instead of by the train station where I originally considered staying. Negatives: WIFI did not work in my room but it did work in the lobby. Staff told me no one else has this problem, but I have not had the problem in other hotels. My room was on the third floor. The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the middle of charming Dijon; in just a 15-20mins walking radius you're able to see all the important attractions of Dijon's Historic Center. However, while the lobby area seems newly rennovated, the rooms need some TLC. The beds are past their time and rooms are very old-fashioned; the AC in our room […] was NOT working -thank God it was chilly outside, so we slept with our windows wide open! Also, a quadruple room was two adjacent rooms (divided by doors), in which one of them had a bathroom (clean and roomy, which was fine), and an AC... the other one didn't even have a fan; so, with a non-working AC the second room was a bit warm (even with its only small window opened). The hotel was clean, comfy and the rooms were homely. The particular area of Dijon is lovely and quaint and the staff were only too happy to help with directions and recommended a fantastic place to eat. My only criticism might be that parking is extra, but it does say that when you book it. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in a great location close to all the shops, restaurants and main sights of Dijon. The only slight problem we had from an otherwise great stay was parking. Globalement bon hôtel, ... mais la fenêtre de la chambre est à 2m de haut et ne permet aucune vue sur la ville. Chambre très petite, à peine 12m², par contre la salle de bains (douche) est très correcte. Pas de clim donc attention en été il peut faire très chaud!

Faktisk var rommet en leilighet i byggets 4. etasje. Ikke nyrenovert stilmessig, men mer enn godt nok! Midt i byen. Hyggelig betjening, enkelt med parkering.

Sentral og fin beliggenhet. Gåavstand til severdigheter, restauranter og shoppingområder. Enkelt, men rent og med grei service. Rommene er litt mørke, og ikke av typen du koser deg med å tilbringe tid på. Vi overnattet fra 18 til 19 juli 2012 på vei fra Nice til Paris, og var svært fornøyd med å tilbringe en dag i Dijon på veien.

Dieses Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Dijon. Leider hatten wir keinen Autosinstellplatz, dieser hätte man telefonisch bestellen müssen: Kosten pro Nacht um 10 Euro. Stellten das Auto dann für 2 1/2 Tage ins Parkhaus: Kosten für den Parkhausaufenthalt um 13 Euro. Die Zimmer waren unterschiedlich, eines sehr alt und das andere ganz neu. Der Boden beim alten […] Zimmer war mit Platten ausgelegt, da hörte man jeden Schritt des Nachbaren... Goed hotel. Wel veel straatgeluiden. Check of de airco het doet. Weinig parkeerplaatsen, dus reserveer er 1 van tevoren. Anders P in de buurt. Veel leuke restaurants in de directe omgeving.

vi kommer til dijon uten noen forventninger til byen eller for så vidt hotellet vi skulle bo på. men begge deler viste seg å være en fryd å komme til! vi fikk et stort rom i øverste etage med 14 meter lang altan! hotellet lå sentralt og ansatte behersket engelsk. vi kommer gjerne hit igjen.

Hotel sympa, propre, mais les chambres sont à rénover au niveau de la tapisserie et peinture. Salle de bain: correcte. Petit déjeuner correct, il faudrait juste de bonnes baguettes de pains frais de boulanger à la place de petits pains faits sur place.
