We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice staff and lovely room. The hotel is well located. Treat your self and get a room with a view of the valley. The room has french windows that give you a great view. The hotel has a very good resteraunt (not opened every night) a nice bar and serves a very good breakfast.

While this hotel is a few km outside of Nimes downtown, it was easy enough to get there, but does require a car. The staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast, at 10 EUR, may have been a little overpriced (tea/coffee, juice, bread, some cheese and a salami), but was still quite nice. The shower had a hand-held wand with no way to attach, so this was less then desirable. Still, the location was good, and staff great, and we would stay there again.

I chose this hotel for old French charm experience and it was almost exactly what I’ve expected. This is an old house with some additions remodeled into... hotel. The pros: Good customer service with enough English to communicate; very pretty French country style reading room and dining room; remodeled updated bathroom; free WiFi service in the common area, beautiful view from the window, free parking; the town center in 5 minutes walking distance; the grocery store is also 5 minutes away. Cons: Split level property with no elevator or bell boy service; the room is so plain it reminded me of the nuns chamber(I’ve asked for the room with the balcony, but they only offered it for the higher price even the hotel was almost empty); the walls are thin, you can hear noises in the corridor and the neighboring rooms (it wasn’t too bad since the hotel was almost empty); the free WiFi doesn’t work in the room; no curtain in the bathtub (not sure what is the deal with this, I believe it will be much cheaper for the owners to install the curtain than deal with water spilled all over the bathroom floor and possible leaks). We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and found it charming. We had a spacious, cosily furnished room with a balcony. The bathroom was updated and sparkling clean. Personell was extremely helpful We enjoyed the garden and sitting in the shade, sipping a glas of wine, after a busy day sight-seeing.

We had a lovely stay, and were sad that it was only one night. The hotel room had lovely views overs the Alpilles and very modern bathroom (although small). Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk into the old part of St Remy and to the tourist information bureau.

Väldigt vackert hotell med mysiga rum. Dock var rummen ganska så små och vårt saknade air conditioning, men hade en fläkt. Badrummet var nyrenoverat och allting var rent. Fanns hårfön men inte kylskåp eller strykjärn. Frukosten var bra och serverades på den mysiga verandan.

Hotellet er en stor villa få minutter unna sentrum av St. Remy-de-Provence. Vi hadde det største rommet, og det hadde rikelig med skapplass, stor seng, kjøleskap, skrivebord, ekstra stoler samt balkong med utsikt til alpillene. Det anbefales å be om dette ved bestilling da det er få rom som har balkong. Servicen var veldig god, personale snakker engelsk […] og er høflig. Det skal imidlertid sies at som ung (de fleste gjestene var 50++) blir man noe stigmatisert - de eldre gjestene får trolig hakket bedre service. Der hotellet virkelig scorer full pott er på fasilitetene. Det er riktignok ikke swimming pool, men en fantastisk hage med sofa- og sittegrupper i både sol og skygge. Der kunne man nyte både medbrakt eller hotellets vin til alle døgnets tider. Det anbefales på det sterkeste å leie sykler hvis man ønsker å sykle i området eller til nærliggende vingårder. Vi leide sykler, og disse ble levert på hotellet ved ønsket tid. Det var moderne sykler med fullt utstyr (tasker til kart, drikke etc), hjelm og sykkelpumpe. Informasjon er tilgjengelig på turistkontoret, som ligger ca 300 meter unna hotellet. Det er forøvrig gratis bilparkering i tilknytning til hotellet. Read more

I don' t really know if to reccomend this hotel. I spent one night there and the room, the hotel and the position are OK. At my arrival I requested the receptionist to use for the payment the same card coordinates I used for the booking. The receptionist kindly told me she would do it. But at my departure very early in the morning another receptionist […] plainly accused me to try to run away without paying. It was probably just a misunderstanding but her attitude was incredibly offensive (she even explained to me "we never charge the credit cards in advance, we only get those details for situations like this.......!!". So she basically didn't even consider the possibility that I was saying the truth and that her colleague didn' follow my instructions. Quite offensive and unnecessary since as she also said they had my card details anyway. Probably she panicked because my french is not that great and I prefer to speak in english for business matters, but they stated that they could speak english during the booking process so I don' t think this is a valid excuse. Hotellet ligger sentralt men likevel stille i en sidegate. Hyggelig personale og en god frokostbuffet. Be om veranda med utsikt til Apillene. Et flott sted for en aperitiff.
