We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice staff and lovely room. The hotel is well located. Treat your self and get a room with a view of the valley. The room has french windows that give you a great view. The hotel has a very good resteraunt (not opened every night) a nice bar and serves a very good breakfast.

While this hotel is a few km outside of Nimes downtown, it was easy enough to get there, but does require a car. The staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast, at 10 EUR, may have been a little overpriced (tea/coffee, juice, bread, some cheese and a salami), but was still quite nice. The shower had a hand-held wand with no way to attach, so this was less then desirable. Still, the location was good, and staff great, and we would stay there again.

Hotel De La Muette is close to Musee Reattu, Cirque Romain, and St. Trophime Cathedrale. Also nearby are Fondation Van Gogh and Arles Amphitheatre.

"pERFECT LOCATION TO THE HEART OF ARLES"
This was very nice place to stay in the historical heart of Arles. So close to the Arena and Amphitheatre, it gives you an opportunity to walk through a thousand years of history. this little hotel was just a wonderful experience. The location is excellent for walking to everything. If there is any fault to be found it is only in that it is somewhat difficult to drive into because of the tiny streets. Fortunately a local woman told us to follow her and she led us to the hotel. The building was originally built in the 11th century. […] We found it amusing to be in such an ancient building enjoying air conditioning and wifi! "Pretty, unique, perfect location, and nice people"
We had a great stay. This is probably the prettiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful. Our train was over two hours late and we know we would not get in until long after the lobby was closed for the night, but I was able to call the hotel and Alain made sure I knew everything I needed to get into our room […] after hours. The staff all speak excellent English which made it a lot easier, even though I had been working on my French. One distinct feature of the hotel was the shaded patio garden. We had our breakfast and our daily wine and cheese break in the garden and it couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend this hotel and I know this will be my choice if we ever return to Arles.
