This hotel is perfectly situated off Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. The staff is extremely friendly and were able to help with several recommendations. I would recommend that you bring towels and pillows with you, as theirs are somewhat undersized and not too comfy. Other than that, the room was adequately sized (for Europe), the bathroom was amazing, and the hotel was nice and quiet, despite their close proximity to the heart of the city. They even have a free ice machine on the ground floor. I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague and would definitely stay here agian. Make sure to have the churros at the cafe next door!

We stayed on the top floor, and the room was nice, spacious, clean, and elegant. However, I kept waking up throughout the night because the elevator motors would make a loud noise when people used the elevator. It wasn't a huge problem during the week when less people were using the elevator at night, but it constantly woke me up over the weekend, when people were up all hours of the night. So be warned...

Warning: if you can't sleep with earplugs, then you should probably avoid a single with shared bath (I can't speak to the other room locations). Since earplugs don't bother me, I had no problem. It's hard to beat the price and location of this hotel.

My room was right next to the reception, and to go to the bathroom I have to walk past the reception and main door. It is very noisy. The room seems clean but very basic. I was bitten by some kind of insects.

We stayed four nights here and are 99% happy. The only downside is the noise from other guests because of the thin doors and walls. Friendly helpful staff and clean. The area is calmer then down town and mouch cosier and a LOT cheaper. Ten to fifeteen minute walk to plaza real.

Cet hôtel (c'est d'ailleurs un terme bien élogieux pour ce lieu) est à éviter. Déjà, il faut arriver sur une plage horaire bien déterminée. Quand vous arrivez dans cette plage, c'est à dire l'après midi vers 16 H, on vous dit d'attendre afin que la chambre soit faite car elle ne l'a pas été avant... Ensuite, entre deux jours, personne ne viendra faire […] le lit et donner un coup de balai, vous retrouvez la chambre exactement dans le même état que celui que vous l'avez laissé. Par ailleurs, il faut savoir que vous êtes dans un immeuble d'habitations, il n'y a que deux étages pour l'hôtel. Les portes des chambres ne se ferment pas. (N'amenez surtout pas de choses de valeur, même si je ne me suis rien fait voler). Aucun petit déjeuner ne vous sera proposé, les sanitaires communs sont vieux. Bref, je garde un très mauvais souvenir de cet hôtel qui présente un rapport qualité-prix exécrable. A mon avis, à prix égal, on peut trouver bien mieux. Read more
