The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

The hotel is extremely well located near St Pancras Station which is why we booked in and we were very pleased with the pleasant and helpful service we... received. will never stay again. GBP 75 is 3 times the actual cost should be. This hotel is not worth more than GBP 25 in peak season. the rating of 2.5 star looks to be fictitious. its a 1 star hotel.

Hotel convenient location for catching the train to Paris and there are plenty of other attractions close by. The rooms are small but comfortable and the included breakfast was a bonus. Would stay again .

As a business traveller needing a bed for the night and travelling from King's Cross early morning this hotel suits is purposes. The room smelled a bit "old" and I had to open the window. The London traffic was terribly noisy, so the very heavy glass was very much appreciated for enabling a nights sleep. Don't expect more than a bed.

Convenient when using the tube and Eurostar. Clean. Room 16: Singel, but the bed was too big for the room, almost not space to open suitcase on the floor. Light from the corridor shone into the room through window over the door. It came on everytime somebody walked outside the room, irritating when I tried to get to sleep. The Carlton Hotel is an affordable place to stay in London if you are on a budget. Right next to St Pancras station it's location is perfect for getting to the rest of the city however being so close to major roads means it's quite noisy all the time. The room was comfortable enough however water pressure in shower was severely lacking (on the 4th floor). […] Breakfast choice was limited but nice enough. The room was tiny and at the top of several flights of stairs in an annexe (I didn't see a lift). If you're a light sleeper (and I'm not) you might find the traffic noise a problem. Pleasent reception staff. Lift did not work on one occasion and I was on the top floor! Also the breakfast was not good - it was like a cafe - all self service (knives, forks, toast, tea and coffee etc. perhaps I expected too much!! It was a small single room with a very small bathroom.

Hotel has great location and it is good value for money. Rooms are old as well as bed but a lot better then any backpacker. Internet connection was very good. Breakfast typical English and reception was very helpfull.

Småsunkigt hotell, oerhört lyhört (man hörde de i rummet mitt emot ganska tydligt) väldigt nära tunnelbanan. Duger alldeles utmärkt om det enda du ska göra är att sova men området är rätt ruffigt, inget man vill springa omkring i på natten.

Carlton Hotel har ett bra läge med närhet till bra kommunikationer. Området har en trevlig karaktär med mycket restauranger och pubar. Rummen har en enkel standard men är rena och trevliga. Frukosten på hotellet är inget extra men duger ändå bra. Personalen på hotellet var väldigt trevliga.

It was a very bad experience for me. The only advantage is the relatively lower rates of the hotel and the location. The hotel is very close to Kingscross station.

Hotelli oli ihan ok lyhyehkölle matkallemme. Huoneessa oli kaikki tarpeellinen (kahden hengen huone omalla kylpyhuoneella) ja hintaan sisältyi aamiainen. Haittapuolena huoneesta voisi sanoa, että se oli aika tunkkainen ja kostea mutta ainakin se oli muuten siisti. Aamiainen ei ollut ihan minun makuun sillä tajolla oli englantilaiseen tapaan munia, pekonia […] ja papuja. Pyydettäessä tosin sai myös paahtoleipää ja taisi pöydällä jonkinlaisia murojakin olla tarjolla. Hotellin sijainti oli oikein hyvä, suoraan King's Crossin asemaa vastapäätä. キングスクロス駅に近く、バス停、地下鉄があり非常に中心地や郊外に行くのも便利です。またM&Sや飲食店も近くにあるので滞在しやすく、従業員の方も優しく対応していただきました。つたない英語でも嫌そうな顔をせず何度も聞きなおしくれていたので安心感がありました。コストパフォーマンスはイギリスにしては良かったと思います。

Staying at Hotel Carlton (London) was not good at all: The staff never smiled or said "welcome" when we checked in or met them. The window, in our room, were so badly sound-isolating, that the noise and the sirens kept us awake all night. The shower-mixer was broken, so we could only get cold water. The double-bed were more of a wide single-bed, and […] the bed was made with only 1 blanket/quilt, for a couple to chear. The bedside lamp was error/wrong mounted, so we had to turn/wiggle with the bulb, to get light. Hotel room is small and poorly maintained. Bathroom is very small and the shower is almost no water. The breakfast has little choice because it consists entirely of English breakfast with toast, so no ordinary breakfast. Hotel has no restaurant. It's more of a poorly maintained bed and breakfast.
