Hotel & VIlla Auersperg is a clean, comfortable and pleasant hotel when looking for hotels in Salzburg. It's located outside the old city, which makes for a walk to the main attractions but there is enough to see around the hotel that makes the location acceptable. Pros: complimentary morning breakfast (which was excellent), complimentary use of sauna and steam room, and very helpful staff. Cons: small-ish room, wireless internet did not work.

great room, very clean and friendly staff. Has its own restaurant and serves a great breakfast. If you didn't book the room with breakfast it can get quite expensive ($15.00/person) and parking is pretty bad in the area. If you use the small parking lot the hotel keeps nearby, it will cost you another $14.00 per day. Location is convenient, right next to the train station with public transportation almost around the corner.

Salzburg was a charming city to visit during winter time and our hotel was as well. Its architectural style and overall atmosphere is an excellent composition of modernity and tradition - all interior decoration executed with sophisticated style mixture. The homy feel as well as superb location of the place makes the stay very appealing and comfortable. It is one of these hotels where one wants to return.

Die Gersberg Alm is close to Mount Nockstein, Hohensalzburg Castle, and Salzburg Cathedral. Also nearby are Mirabell Palace and Mozart's Birthplace.

Staff were brilliant. Very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Amazing setting overlooking Salzburg and in mountains. We hired a car so it was perfect. Beautiful hotel. Room was very good. Bed a little hard, but its hard to suit everyone! Would highly recommend.

The ALM by far surpassed all we expected. We own a small inn property ourselves and do realize how difficult fair advertizing is. We will come back and not only for one night- we found our destination in Austria! Petra & Klaus N.B. CANADA

Although the hotel is outside town about 6-7 miles but if you are driving this might be your best choice. It is a charming cottage style building in the middle of woody area on top of the hills looking over Salzburg. Romms are completely remodeled and it are modern inside.Only noice you here is from birds singing in the morning. Nice breakfast is included […] and staff are very friendly. it is worth the drive. hotel tranquille, vue merveilleuse, chambre spacieuse et tres propre,terrasse panoramique avec vue sur Salzbourg et piscine a l'eau de la montagne, personnel adorable qui fait des efforts pour parler français même si nous parlons anglais...et repas gastronomiques!!!! en un mot comme en cent....j'y retournerai c'est certain!!!

Un auberge de charme typiquement autrichienne. Très belle vue sur Salzbourg mais excentrée. La chambre était bien équipée et décorée mais le ménage aurait besoin d'être revu pour un hôtel de ce standing: 2 toiles d'araignées / de poussière au dessus de nos lits. Le repas de soir et la qualité du petit déjeuner rattrape ce raté.
