My 3rd time to stay here - the hotel is conveniently located just across from the train station and a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the town square. Rooms are with modern furnishings and very clean. Internet speed (complimentary wireless) was fast and reliable. The breakfast buffet here is also excellent, though I find the restaurant is a little overpriced in relation to other dining options in town. This hotel remains my first choice for when I need to stay in Kortrijk.

A wonderful stay in a perfect central location to Ypres. The B&B was a lovely place to call home for the night. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Lekker Full English breakfast in the morning and Nelson the Cat was a fun addition!! Out of 1-5, I give Cavell's an 11.

Kortrijk Belgium is a city with tiny streets and half of them are one way! My GPS stopped working because of the tight quarters in the city and when it did it kept telling me to go down one way streets. The sign in front of the hotel is hidden by a tree and the parking is not clearly marked and is around to the back of the hotel in the alley across from the back of the police station.So the hotel is very nice but you really need to know how to get to the parking before you get to Kortrijk. I would stay there again....now that I know where it is!

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is a basic hotel with bed, shower, tv and that's about it. It is in the middle of a business park so there is not much around here. We did find a decent supermarket and a Micky D's in the same area but it's really not within walking distance. Would stay here again if I found myself in B.F.E. France

This place was ideally situated for a visit to my daughter who lives in the student quarter. Whenever you come out of the place you are bombarded by beggars though.This area is very impoverished and I found it difficult to avoid coughing up every time I emerged from the hotel. Très bien placé, juste à la sortie du métro Gambetta et à 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville. L'environnement immédiat n'est pas le plus beau quartier de Lille mais rien de déplaisant non plus. Hotel sans prétention, chambre propre et bien entretenu. Wi-fi de bonne qualité et buffet petit déjeuner bien garni et très abordable. Que demande le peuple?

Goed gelegen, het centrum van Lille is zowel te voet als met metro makkelijk te bereiken. De kamers zijn klein maar netjes en voorzien van de belangrijkste uitrusting: een goed bed. Het ontbijt zou zeker niet misstaan in een vier-sterren hotel!

L'Hôtel est très difficile à trouver à cause des sens unique et de plus dans un quartier pas très agréable, mais en revanche l'amabilité des Lillois pour nous renseigner. La qualité du dîner très moyen rapport qualité prix, quant au petit déj très bien. Le parking très difficile à descendre, mon mari a fait le code et le temps de descendre doucement […] à cause d'une grande pente le rideau s'est refermé, j'ai du redescendre de la voiture, refaire le code et je n'étais pas rassurée,et l'hiver je me demande comment cela se passe, ensuite pour revenir au petit escalier la lumière séteint de suite et on ne sait pas ou se trouve l'interrupteur, journée difficile pour des personnes âgées. sinon l'amabilité du personnel excellent Read more
