Knossos - Nafplion

Very excellent hotel if you are looking to get out of hussle and bussel. Great accomdations and staff. Must have rental car, location is out in country. Very warm homy feeling. Thoroughly enjoyed peace and quiet and beautiful orchards. It is a must stay with reasonalbe price.

Great accommodations,loved the balcony.The bathroom was small but had a powerfull shower with jets. The homemade breakfast was amazing. The service and the courtesy of the owners made us feel comfortable and wellcome. Akis made sure there was always a spot for the car.

Very nice accomodations and met the owner and his wife numerous times. He helped me find the hotel in the dark about 10pm. Would definately return here. Our kids stayed in another room. We all 4 could have fit in one room because each room has 2 queen size beds + another couch/tv/kitchen area and two full bathrooms. Lovely place and people!!! ALSO ask to buy some of their olive oil they make, extremely good also. Yassas.

This a delightful small pension in Nafplio's old town, within a stone's throw of the port and its many fine seafood restaraunts (it's also directly opposite the charming Folkore Museum, and steps away from the main square). The owners and their staff of one are personable, helpful and very friendly, and the unique, airy rooms, old world Greek decor, and location all explain why the place is packed with vactioning Greeks on the weekends. Insist if you can on a view of the quiet and lovely Sofroni street or liitle courtyard outside (rather than the back alley) and your stay will be perfect. Book in advance.
