Excellent choice. Employees were very nice. One even taught me the Greek alphabet! Breakfast was the best! Great selection and quality. Views are magnificent from the room and the breakfast room. Location is just perfect to see Knossos or Rethymno.and the port is walking distance if you are coming by boat.

Apartments offer stunning views over Malia Bay. Owner of property was very attentive to ensure my family had an enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend this property.

I usually don't stay in hotels when I come to Crete, Heraklio, especially but since I had only 9 days and needed to be central I opted for one. I chose Pasiphae based on availability, proximity to city centre and price. I am very happy with this decision. Upon arrival, the owner was very accommodating and helpful.I had booked a single and was very pleased with the size, per Greek standards in this hotel-range. The room was very clean upon entry and a/c, towels, sheets, soap, body wash, mini-fridge, and tv. The owner told me about their use of a local laundromat, Clean Up, which comes and picks up clothes, launders them and returns them next day for a great price. There is a nearby small grocery which covers all basic necessities and a larger Spar (Χαλκιαδακις) just a tiny bit farther. There is also a bank, pharmacy, pet store, seamstress and many restaurants within 2 blocks. They offer breakfast, which I never took advantage of, as well as beverages and a great patio in front. Their free wifi is reliable. On the third day, after raining all day, my room experienced a small leak and they were quick to offer me another room very quickly. There is a bus stop just up the road on the Main Street which can take you many places, the main bus terminal is about 10 min walk away, or it is a 15 min leisurely walk to get to city centre. Overall, I've been VERY pleased and would gladly stay here again on my next trip!

The resort had issues. For instance, no hot water one morning, loss of electric power before dawn as we attempted to complete our packing for early morning flight, bath-tub did not drain well. However, the hotel staff was responsive and acted quickly in all above when reported. What more can you ask for when stuff happens. The staff was friendly and wanting to please. The little fishing village close-by was delightful and the setting was magnificent. If you stayed only in resort area it was fabulous but sights were far away and cab rides expensive unless one rented a car. Personally, driving a rented car in a foreign country is not my idea of a relaxing vacation. Anyway, I chose the expensive cab rides and it was fine. We got to see some ancient historical stuff.

A clean, modest hotel with friendly service. Appreciated tea / coffee facilities in the room. Best accessed from the port or the bus station by taxi, otherwise getting there with a luggage can be quite a challenge - up the hill, through uneven, narrow footpaths and many steps.

The hotel is situation in the Heraklion centre, very close to the harbour. The location is perfect, but the streets are very narrow, and parking there can be extremely challenging. In all it served its purpose well. Well within walking distance to most attractions and easy access to the bus station for access to Knossis and the aquarium. I had the shared bathroom accommodation and the room had no AC - just a swing fan and no fridge for keeping water cold. For the price, you got as expected. Great restaurant around the corner, […] head left from front door, first street turn left again, next street turn left and it is right there. A Mom and Pop style restaurant and the food and house wine is excellent. Enjoy. NOTE: You have to go to the aquarium!!! It is REALLY well laid out and managed. Wer keinen Schnick-Schnack braucht, sondern eine zweckmäßige, saubere und schöne Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden, wir sind sehr zufrieden, insbesondere das Hotelpersonal ist überaus freundlich. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder herkommen!
