I really enjoyed Il COnvento. It's right in the historic district and you are right in there with it -- with hanging sheets, kids playing in the streets, cars zipping. Our room was spotless, and accommodated a family of 4 easily. We lost something in a taxi, and the concierge was so helpful in getting it back for us. Plus, her dinner recommendation […] was superb! Great people, great location in old Spanish neighborhood. Good value which is also kid friendly. Room had character. Shower tiny but could live with. Streets remarkably quiet despite chaos of old city. Chapel across the street awakens at 7 AM, which was fine for us.

Talk about being in the center of a food and shopping wonderland, this is it. With the exception of tghose motor scooters who are like hornets at a picnic it was superb. if you like Al fresco drinking this is your street. And the hotel greeter, i believe Petra. was the best in every way most help of anyone on our trip.

Other than the beds being extremely hard which I found to be the case in most of the hotels in Italy, this was an excellent hotel. It is old, but well maintained. The hotel is very charming, the personel are very nice and they give you extra attention that makes the stay even better. The only draw back is that the sorroundings are noisy, and there is church bell near by that sounds sometimes at 6am and/or 7 am. Cesta na hotel byla skvěle značena, ani sem nemusela vytahovat iphone a google maps. Španělská čtvrť, ve které hotel sídlí, je sice velmi hlučná, ale nesmírně osobitá. Druhý třetí den si již bez problémů zvyknete na projíždějící skútry a jejich troubící řidiče. Pokoj byl sice maličký, ale velmi útulný, krásně čistý a nový. Vše bez problémů fungovalo. […] Ceny minibaru nebyly přemrštěné, snídaně sice studená, ale velmi chutná a personál přátelský a ochotný (dokonce ani s angličtinou nebyl problém, což v Itálii není až tak zvykem). buona posizione, pulito ma la camera pagata come doppia aveva un letto da 120cm, si trattava sicuramente di una camera singola adattata per l'occasione a doppia visto che l'hotel era pieno per via di un concerto; il risultato è che per colazione non c'erano neppure i posti a sedere per tutti...peccato!!

O Hotel é muito bem decorado, confortável, somente sua localização é que não ajuda, rua barulhente, não tem aonde o carros parar, cefé da manhã satisfatório, atendimento razoável.
