We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

While this hotel is a few km outside of Nimes downtown, it was easy enough to get there, but does require a car. The staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast, at 10 EUR, may have been a little overpriced (tea/coffee, juice, bread, some cheese and a salami), but was still quite nice. The shower had a hand-held wand with no way to attach, so this was less then desirable. Still, the location was good, and staff great, and we would stay there again.

Close to Avignon center. About a 5 min walk to center area. But hotel is a bit cheap with their energy saving tactics.. Hallways are dark and light comes on as you walk by like a motion detector and turns back off quickly. Elevator is almost pitch dark. We got a room at the end if the hotel and because they have these extra long hallways, if was pretty […] inconvenient to walk to lobby.. About a 3 min walk inside the hallway.. if you have a car, you'll be circling the block a few times before you figure out that you have to go around the block to underground parking and lug your luggage all the way back to lobby. Signs to parking area isn't clear and because hotel on main street, you can't drive up and drop luggage .. Very inconvenient! Oh and the hotel front desk employee disappears after 11pm and locks lobby so if you are out late, you have to call him on his cell phone so he can come back and let you in and because we were from U.S. , our cell phones weren't setup for Europe so we had to wait around until he came back and let us in!! I wouldn't stay here again just because of all these minor nuisances even tho rooms were nice and clean. Also no gym here Read more

La chambre et la salle de bain sont très agréable (décoration sobre, douche a l'italienne, bonne literie et taille correcte) ! Les bémols, quoi que de moindre importance pour le passage d'une nuit sont : l'absence de mini bar et la vue de la chambre (cours intérieure commune […] a plusieurs chambre). Hotel muy cerca del centro, limpísimo, habitación bonita y cama muy cómoda. Tuvimos un problema con la reserva (no sabemos por qué, se había anulado) y al llegar al hotel, el recepcionista lo solucionó enseguida. Muy recomendable.

Ikke bli bekymret når du svinger inn til hotellet - så fort du er utenfor resepsjonen så ser du at fasaden mot innkjørselen bedrar. Resepsjonen er nyoppusset og fresh - det er et hyggelig lite basseng ved baren og de har et lite trimrom som fungerte utmerket. Parkering var gratis. Rommet var ganske standard, sengene var gode og wifi gratis (fungerte […] bra). Badet ok med to servanter. Eneste moment var at det ikke var oppheng for dusj - kun håndholdt dusj som er litt dumt. Vinduene godt isolert - vi hadde rom mot hovedveien men hørte ingen biltrafikk. Nabolaget er stille, men det er kun 8-10 min gange, så er du midt i gamlebyen. L'hôtel était propre. La piscine suffisamment grande avec transats, jacuzzi et serviettes fournies. Le parking grand et gratuit mais absolument pas ombragé. C'est cependant un établissement qui aurait besoin d'être rénové en profondeur. La déco des chambres, du hall, de la salle de petit déjeuner a été modernisée mais les salles de bain (selon la chambre) […] datent un peu, certains détails sont à revoir (prises mal fixées au mur, lampes de chevet vieillissantes, rideaux mal fixés aux barres, peinture écaillée, robinetterie à détartrer...) pour correspondre véritablement à un 3 étoiles. Chambre triple (25 m2, 3 lits simples, SDB avec baignoire) correcte. Un lit parapluie avait été installé à notre demande mais il manquait un "plan à langer", un chauffe-biberon, une poubelle plus grande pour les couches, sachant que nous avions 2 enfants en bas âge et qu'il s'agit d'un 3 étoiles...Petit espace aménagé pour les jeunes enfants (maisonnette avec cuisinière à l'intérieur, petite table pour coloriage et autre, coffre à jouets, tapis de pelouse synthétique). Hotellet var lett å finne fra hovedveien og hadde fin parkering med bom. Selve hotellet var bra men kanskje noe upersonlig. Vi fikk rom mot et innelukket betongområde - skimtet himmelen så vidt. Bra rengjøring. Vennlig og serviceinnstilt resepsjonspersonale. Litt ukoselig område men kort avstand til byens severdigheter.

Excellentt accueil, chambre confortable et impeccable, très bon couchage : lit 2 mètres de large, clim parfaite, bouilloire électrique pour " early morning tea". Il faut marcher quinze minutes pour être dans le centre, et les environs de l' hôtel ne sont pas remarquables. A part ce petit bémol, à recommander.
