      I had an extra day in my business trip and elected to spend in Montpellier, France. I selected the Mercure Centre for its location, near the old downtown. The location was fine and convenient to walking around on Saturday morning in the old city.

      We stayed here for a few day while visiting the surrounding region. These rooms are literally minutes away from the main train station. Our room was very well equipped, clean and extremely quiet. Tram lines and buses are also minutes away by foot. WiFi worked very well and had a strong signal. Highly recommended!

    Proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if we return to Sete - about a 10 minute walk to the centre, but this meant the hotel was in a quieter area which was good. Would 100% recommend, so if you are looking to stay in Sete, the National is a great hotel at a very fair rate!

    No available check in until late afternoon meant we had to carry our packs all day. When we did check in we found a clean neat room in a hotel near to the station. A shame really then that we had walked past it and 3 km into town to the tourist information to find out where it was. The hotel owner had very good english and was concerned at all times […] that our stay was satisfactory. The room was a good size but quite warm overnight. Apparently a French thing as we found it wherever we travelled. Several brasseries and cafes nearby but the best ones are further on into town. Read more

    You can really see that this Hotel is handled with love!!! Rooms are absolutely clean, have a real stylish touch and have amazing comfort for this priceclass. The cream on Top for us was the Italien shower in our double Room! My only suggestion for improvement would be more choice of the Breakfast!

    This hotel lies about 15 minutes on foot from the main quais (and another 15 minutes on foot from the Theatre de la mer), but the rooms are nice and clean and the staff very friendly.     Absolutely great. Never been in a 2-Star-Hotel like this. Clean rooms, clean and big bathroom with all the installation in perfect conditions and working. Very friendly stuff, very good and complete breakfast-buffet (not included but absolutely worth). The hotel is very near to the train-station but also near to the down-town in very quiet area ....
