This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times have been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is quiet but no more than a five minute walk from Juan Les Pins shopping and restaurant area. It is an old style French hotel but the rooms I have been in have been very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our three kids for business/vacation for a week. The hotel is beautiful, and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind to the children. The "boys' room" was spacious, but the "girls' room" had two "princess beds" with blue draperies and pink lace reading lamps -- amazing. We did not get the hotel breakfast, but there is a boulangerie directly behind (one block) the hotel with great French breakfast items. If you are feeling flush, Petrossian (two blocks behind the hotel) also has breakfast. Highlights for the kids were the multiple pieces of sea glass (aka "diamonds" and "emeralds") on the rocky beach, the 40,000 BC human footprint at the Terra Amata museum, the try-it-on Roman helmet at the Roman ruins at Ciminez, the many "smell it" displays at the perfume museum in Grasse, Josephine's crown at the Massena museum, the guinea pig house at Parc Phoenix, and the playground on the castle hill. We took the public bus everywhere and the French people were so nice to us (it helps to speak a little French, but we limped along and they were very patient.) Hotel staff almost always spoke English better than my French. Deserving of more than five stars, if we could give them.

Situated in Cannes, Idéal Séjour is close to Forville Provencal Food Market, Palace of Festivals and Congress Hall, and La Croisette. Also nearby are Cannes City Hall and Cannes Harbour.

Rooms have garden views. The 16 guestrooms at Idéal Séjour include ceiling fans. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen televisions with satellite channels. In addition, amenities available on request include hair dryers and irons/ironing boards.

This is a good 2 star B&B. There is no bar or restaurant so it is really a Bed and Breakfast rather than a normal hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well... decorated. The lady owner is very helpful and welcoming. The building is situated about 15 minutes walk up a quite steep hill from centre of Cannes. It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood without shops or restaurants. Therefore you need to walk out to eat and I would certainly not recommend the hotel to elderly or infirm. The biggest negative was the breakfast which is expensive and poor. Orange juice and coffee plus a chunk of bread and an unbelievably sweet sugar coated pastry affair which are plonked in front of you in a brown paper bag. No croissants which amazed me in France. Très bon hôtel. La responsable de l'hôtel est très accueillante et souriante. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable et possibilité d'être servi tard. Chambre à thème confortable et propre. Juste un petit bémol : dommage que les échantillons douche ne soient pas renouvelés quand on reste plusieurs jours à l'hôtel.
