My girlfriend and I stayed at Adagio in Caen Centre while I was on a week-long business trip in town. The studio room was perfect for us because it gave us a kitchen in which to cook for ourselves part of the time, instead of eating out every meal. There are a couple grocery stores within easy walking distance, one just outside the hotel entrance. The staff was very friendly, spoke English well, and helped us out anytime we needed it. The location couldn't be better: right on the Orne River within a short walk of restaurants, shopping, nightclubs and city attractions. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here - the location was very convenient and close to the center of town. The couple that owns this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. All in all, a great stay.

We had a stopover on the way to Normandy and this is a good choice. Clean and well placed. Down near a harbor and on Sunday there is a huge market out front. Use the parking (10EU) as it solves a lot of issues. Breakfast is ok. There are restaurants nearby but we did not use them. Also see the Caen D-day museum first, it is the best one and you can skip some of the others.

By European standards, the room was quite comfortable. The hotel staff all spoke English & could not have been more helpful. They went above & beyond! The biggest complaint I have about the hotel is that the hallways were extremely dark.

Taking the very reasonable cost into account a perfectly adequate hotel for an overnight stay. Not particularly easy to find but easier than finding the local Ibis! Staff very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was very nice and a good value for the price. Our room was a triple, but did not have Air Conditioning. I had not picked that up before, and it was not an issue since we like to sleep with the windows open, so I would not have used it anyway. Good service, friendly people, and a good value.

The hotel room is very dated and very basic. The hotel is in very short walking distance of downtown and restaurants and attactions. The room was clean but don't stay if you are looking for any creature comforts. The price was cheap but you gtet what yo pay for.

Walking distance of the main shopping strip and Bayeaux Tapestry. Parking 9 Euro/night...only 20 spaces. Great location to venture out to the different landing zones of Normandy Beach for a taste of WWII history.

You may possibly have trouble gaining access - the hotel has been taken over by the, next door, Grand Hotel de Luxembourg. Entrance not obvious. However, the service is excellent, the attitude of the staff exemplary, and the hotel facilities very good. By and large a good choice for a stay.

This hotel was a good location. Room small but clean, unfortunately the room faced a street that was very noisy. The bed was very hard. Staff very friendly and helpful, and a surprisingly good restaurant which we unfortunately discovered on the last evening there.

This hotel was picked randomly when looking at Hotels.com. Ideally situated close to downtown Bayeux which was a plus but also a minus. Great for walking to the tapestry and all the surrounding shops but our room was right on the road opposite the theatre and when that was on, boy, did it feel as if the patrons were in your room! pour accéder au 4eme étage, il n'y avait que l’ascenseur jusqu'au 3eme. Arrivé dans un couloir ou se dégageait une très mauvaise odeur. Ce qui n'était pas forcément engageant. Les chambres sommes toutes correctes, ne possédaient que deux lits jumeaux, alors que nous étions 2 couples. Pas de wifi dans l'hôtel ce qui est dommage.
