This hotel was just steps away from the cathedral and worth every penny. Mind you, I'm in my 20s and a fresh graduate, so I couldn't spend too much, but I'd definitely come back even if I had a bigger budget. The staff was kind and helpful.

Beautiful from the outside. Inside, it was clean and roomy. But the room furnishings were seriously lacking and not up the expected standard. The bed was adequate, but not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was very good, but very expensive. Overall, it was a nice hotel but seriously overpriced for what we got.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. We received a very fine internet price for a large family room. It was right across the street from the main train station and convenient to the central sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were quite comfortable with springs, unlike many places in Europe. The only drawbacks were the room door handle which was difficult to unlock because it needed fixing, although the staff addressed it as soon as we mentioned it, and the bathroom which was a little bit mildewy. However, those tiny details did not mar a very pleasant stay. We will definitely use this hotel on our next trip to Strasbourg.

This is a gem of a hotel. We have stayed there twice this past year and would stay there again if we find ourselves in Strasbourg again. The location is quite convenient - close to old town and Petit France yet distance enough for quiet away from the crowds. It is a classy hotel and the staff is terrfic with their help.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Strasbourg, Couvent du Franciscain is close to Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune Church, Tomi Ungerer Museum, and Strasbourg Cathedral. Also nearby are L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum and Rohan Palace.

Very comfortable, very clean, very warm when temperatures outside were 0 degrees. View of adjacent building site but not a problem out of working hours... and building nearly complete. Attentive host but rather formal. As a Brit I would have appreciated a kettle in the room! Excellent location just off the central area, quiet, respectable but not far from station. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es war auch sehr sauber. Lediglich war kein Parkplatz zur Verfügung obwohl dies ausgeschrieben ist. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.
