Roome was clean comforatable modern with some historic charm. Free WiFi worked great (not always the case in Italy).Location is great right by a tram stop and at the begining of the historic district.

The hotel is in a residential area and a short walk from the Dijon Ville Station. Staff very happy to help witrh any query. Our room overlooking the... courtyard was very clean and comfortable:good shower over a bath, window shutters, desk for computer use. Breakfast spread was extensive. Local restaurant, supermarket & laundrymat close by. It is a 10minute walk to the centre of the city. We extended our stay another night here at the end of our train travel in Europe. Room was not just basic, it was spartan. No pictures on wall, teensy bedside table attached to bed frame which was only big enough for a tiny phone and the remote control. Room was clean, but super tiny. Bed and bedding just ok. Only way to lock room door is to put key in lock from inside and turn it. Had to walk outside and upstairs to get to room, […] and it was chilly weather! Bathroom very clean. Room next to mine was under renovation, even while I was in the room, (after 7 pm at night, before 10 am in the morning - noisy!). No in room safe. called reception no one would answer, had to go down and outside to ask your question. Staff friendly however and recommended nice restaurant within walking distance. Dijon is a lovely town, though parking is a serious hassle in general all through town so bear that in mind of you plan to drive. Would not stay here again unless nothing else was available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Thurot Hotel. It was an ideal location for us as we arrived by train (short walk to hotel) and did not have a car (short walks to city centre and tourist sites). Nearby was a great little cafe where we enjoyed cafes in the morning. Also nearby was a pizza place for a late night snack. The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. the receptionist was very helpful when we arrived and at breakfast the next morning. The breakfast room was nicely laid out, and the choice for breakfast was very good, I was offered eggs if wanted. A pleasant quiet hotel.

This is a basic but comfortable hotel. Especially commendable was the level of service we got. Laura was extremely helpful in fielding our questions on where to eat, what to see and do in and around Dijon. She also helped to make space for our parking and is very cheerful and welcoming - something that is lacking of a lot of hotel personnel!

Hotel is conveniently located near the train station, up an incline if you plan on having heavy luggage.. There are no lifts in the hotel so also, bear that in mind. It is clean and provided us with everything we needed for a single night stay.. a comforatble bed, airconditioning and clean amenities and reasonable pricing.

Wir (Ehepaar, > 50), hatten Anfang Sept. 2011 zwei Übernachtungen im Thurot. Eindrücke: Einfaches Hotel, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, günstige Lage zum Stadtzentrum, ruhige Lage, Parkplatz. Der Standard geht vielerorts auch als 3-Sterne durch. Wenn man nicht 4 oder 5 Sterne mit allem Trallala braucht, ist man da sehr gut aufgehoben.

Het was lastig om bij het hotel te komen omdat er een trambaan in de stad komt en er daarom veel omleidingen waren. Eenmaal bij het hotel aangekomen was het verblijf erg prettig. Het personeel was vriendelijk en attent en onze kamer was bescheiden maar in nette staat. De airco kregen we niet aan maar hebben het nagelaten om het personeel erom te vragen […] omdat het toen al nacht was. Het centrum was zo leuk dat we besloten hebben om 's ochtends nog te blijven in plaats van verder te reizen. Er zit een goede bakker om de hoek dus ontbijt in het hotel is niet nodig. Al met al een goed hotel waar je prima een paar dagen kunt vertoeven. Read more

Très bon hôtel basique mais propre et agréable, pas très proche de la gare mais cela permet de visiter la ville. Le petit déjeuner est par contre un peu léger pour le prix et les jus de fruit est moins que passable. Sinon j'y suis allé six fois pour motif professionnel et c'était largement suffisant. Le personnel est très accueillant.
