We wanted a place that was walking distance to Euston station and wasn't super expensive. This place fit the bill. The location was good in this respect and there were some really good restaurants nearby. However, the building is very very old and very much in need of an interior and exterior paint job and some new carpeting. Bed was very clean, staff were friendly. My room could do with a fix. I was on the top floor (4 flights of stairs) I had a room with a shared bathroom. I knew this but didn't know the shower and toilet was in the basement!! Not ideal if you needed the toilet in the night or 1st thing in the morning (5 sets of stairs) As it was a shared bathroom they […] could make it a lot nicer. Also the TV cable didn't reach the plug socket. I was given an extension lead when I checked in! It still didn't reach, so I had to move the unit to watch the TV. Reading reviews on TripAdvisor, I was about to cancel my booking - but I was positively surprised. I think the misleading part is that the Fitzroy markets itself as a 'hotel', when it is a bottom-budget B&B. Just 3 streets away from Warren tube and 5-10 walk from Euston, Fitzroy is not a hotel but a bed and breakfast; we were 2 families one at the top and one at the bottom (no elevator!) breakfast very good staff very good rooms basic but clean; positives; location and staff (couldn't do enough!) but you get what you pay for. This is not a hotel. There is no cleaning. There is no maintenance. People here do not care about the guests. This is just about squeezing out some money for doing nothing. stay away! their was only 1 tv channel on my tv in my room and that was *channel 4* their was no other tv channels to watch and nothing more to do except stare at 4 walls or go sleep early? when i complained tó reception about my tv only having 1 tv channel! they said they knew about it *they had no time* to get a tv engineer or a replacement.

"Shared bathroon" did not prepare me for room on 2nd floor and bathroom (toilet) 3 floors down in the basement! Washbasin had no plug, but water gathered and then very slowly drained away through blocked drain. The manager has some difficulty with speaking English clearly when I spoke on the 'phone.

One bath/toilet for the whole hotel. Mouldy smell in the room. Continental breakfast meant 2 toast, butter and strawberry jam - no cheese, no meat, no choice between sweet stuff.

The carpets and hotel looked very shabby and the other one not much better. Et fint bud på billig overnatning i et centralt og attraktivt kvarter. Til få overnatninger er kvaliteten fin, der er rent og med venlig betjening. Savnede dog sengelamper, lidt tættere (og mere støjisolerende) vinduer samt mulighed for at skrue ned for ratiatorer. Morgenmad ok men ikke noget at skrive hjem om...

Jeg var i London for bare 3 dage, men når man bor på B&B Fitzroy er smertegrænsen også nået. Boede på nok 10kvm værelse hvilket er okay hvis det altså er rent! Gulvtæpperne var møgbeskidte fyldt med klamme pletter, vinduet var på ingen måde tæt og det værste var at der kun er 1 toilet og bad til 11 værelser! Rimelig ubehageligt og slet ikke fedt når […] man bor på 2 sal og toilettet er i kælderen! Det eneste positive ved det sted er at nabolaget er at de havde frit internet, beliggendheden er super hyggeligt og ret centralt og så ligger der ret mange steder hvor man kan få en fornuftig sund morgenmad og ikke det skrammel de servere på hotellet! För oss funkade detta perfekt. Det var rent och vi hade bra rum. Fitzroy är för dig som ska vara ute hela dagarna och behöver en säng som är bättre än hostel-standard. Jag kanske inte hade åkt dit om det var en romantisk semester. Det var lite svårt att få en ok temperatur på elementen och ägaren verkade lite nedstämd och hjälpte inte alltid till.

Detta är absolut att betrakta som ett budgethotel mycket slitet och dåligt utrustade rum dvs. inga lampor vid sängen, en lavoar som är så liten att händerna knappt ryms under kranen och en duschkabin som är sprucken och inget tryck i duschmunstycket. Trånga små rum och bara glödlampor som hänger i taket dvs. inga lampskärmar. Hotellets läge är däremot […] mycket bra nära till det mesta, sängkläderna var rena och bäddades rena under dagen. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Däremot fanns det ingen reception såsom det står i beskrivningen (värdeskåp) utan ett litet rum i källaren stort som ett kontor (rörigt sådant) där nycklarna hängde på väggen och där man betalade (i förskott ?) Vid tidig avfärd fanns ingen närvarande och "receptionsrummet" var låst. Det blir nog inte detta hotellet nästa resa till London. Read more

Jeg overnattet på Fitzroy for å lett komme meg til jernbanestasjonen dagen etter for et tilig tog. Det var ikke nødvendig. Undergrunnen i London er så effektiv at du kommer deg fra hvorsomhelst til hvorsomhelst veldig kjapt. Det var mugg i teppegulvet på romme mitt under vasken og toalettet lå tre etasjer ned (uten heis). Toalettet lå vegg i vegg med […] resepsjonsrommet uten noe lydisolering, så det var litt kleint. Det var og veldig mye trafikstøy hele natten. Men location var knallbra, så med litt pondus og et godt sovehjerte er dette billig og enkelt. Read more

L'hôtel est bien situé cependant le personnel n'est pas assez avenant et il n'y a pas de réception a proprement dite. Les chambres sont propres mais mieux vaut y rester qu'un court séjour (3 nuits max).

Skøn beliggenhed af lille hotel tæt på Oxford street. Området lige omkring hotellet er roligt. Vedligeholdelsen af hotellet lader en del at ønske. Personalet er venlig og hjælpsom. Morgenmad er ok.
