Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Just what we expected. everything was good except the wash basin drain was full of hair and drained poorly. surprised that the maid service didn't report it
Location.
Situated in London, Lidos is close to Westminster Cathedral, Victoria Palace Theatre, and Tate Britain. Also nearby are Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.

"Not good for the sensible skins"
The room was very clean but apparently not the blankets !! I left the hotel with an allergy or a bits of some bugs or I don't know what sort of things, well I looks like I get diseas. Thanks you !
"Lidos in London - perfect budget hotel"
The Hotel is clearly undergoing a big refurbishment evident from a poster apologising for the disruption, and banging noises etc. Our room was fully refurbished but tiny. We stayed for 2 nights, and there was nowhere to even lay our suitcase out, and only a tiny rail to hang 4 or 5 items on. Hotel is under going major refub works so taking this into account hotel did well. Breakfast could have been better. would rather pay a little less and skip breakfast. Receptionist very helpful.

The reception area has been upgraded to give an excellent first impression. As soon as you go to the stairs. it becomes clear that the money has not filtered through to all areas.Renovations appear to be on-going, and the common areas show this. The room we had (for 2 adults and one 15 year old) was adequate for our very limited requirements. The room […] was always cleaned and the beds were comfortable. The en-suite shower room was tiny, but the shower and cubicle were fine. There were two main disappointments. First, in the room itself, there was almost no hanging or drawer space at all. A corner unit with two hangers and a single low shelf would be poor even for a single overnight traveller. For a family room booked for four nights, wholly inadequate. Secondly, the breakfast was very basic - cutting costs at every turn. Cheap bread, croissants only available if you beat the rush, and coffee from a vending machine. I'd rather have had a few pounds off the price and eat out. Location is faultless, especially if you make yourself familiar with the bus route that has a stop right outside - very useful after a long day out! Overall, whilst I won't rush to go back, I would agree that this is a decent budget hotel - you do get what you pay for. Read more

10 minutters gang fra Viktoria Station - ældre hotel som er igang med renovering. Morgenmaden var fin til prisen & personalet var meget søde & imødekommende - kan varmt anbefales

Hotellet er beliggende rigtig godt centralt og tæt ved Victoria Station. Vi bruger kun hotellet til overnatning men trods det vil man jo gerne have lidt plads. Værelset var utrolig lille kun plads til seng ingen plads til bagage eller andet. Nyt bad der fungere ok. "Lidos hotelli Lontoo"
Hotelli hyvällä paikalla ja kulkuyhteydet oikein hyvät. Meillä oli tilaus 1x 4 hengen huone. Huoneessa oli 2 kahden hengen sänkyä. Huoneen koko oli kuitenkin aivan liian vaatimaton 4 hengelle.Aivan liian pieni ja vailla kunnollisia säilytys / vaatekaappia yms. Ei se lomaa pilannut mutta seuraavalla kerralla varmistan huoneesta enemmän.
"habitacion demasiado pequeña."
El hotel en gral esta muy bien lo malo es lo reducido del espacio de la habitacion apenas y cabe la cama y 2 buros, y quisieras tener una silla tendfrias que sacar uno de los buros. La ventaja es que tiene el baño muy limpio dentro de la habitacion y en general todo muy bien, considerando las condiciones propias de Londres.

Lidos ligger i ett bra område med flera restauranger och cafeer , även nära till tunnelbana.Hotellet har väldigt trånga rum även frukostmatsalen är trång,halva hotellet var en byggarbetsplats (17/7-11) vilket inte nämdes vid bokning.
