Incredibly helpful staff! There were renovations going on, and even with teh hotel being a bit out of the way for most stuff, it's worth it for the low price and incredible service.

Although the Hotel is obviously still undergoing renovations (as of June/2012), it was nice to have a newly renovated bathroom, new windows, and a flat screen HD television. I think they just installed an elevator, which is nice, since the hotel is built upwards and lugging my luggage upstairs would have been dreadful. The next morning was when construction […] resumed. The noise was very loud and irritating (starting around 9am). I think that's why they offer free breakfast in the basement, as a means to wake you up early enough before construction took place. Superb location with excellent range of eating establishments close by. Apollo theatre, Victoria station and underground 10 minutes away. Situated just a walk away from Pimlico station, this makes an ideal destination for anyone that needs good access to the Victoria Underground line during his or her stay. Whilst the rooms seemed small but reasonable, there were imperfections that caused inconvenience during your stay, such as a broken plug, and missing bulbs in some of the light fixtures. […] People with allergens are advised to bring their own pillow, as they do not have any non-allergen pillows at their disposal. Pros: friendly welcome, good facilities (tea/coffee, shower, TV), well-located, cheap, large "single" bed (I booked a single room), quiet. Cons: bed a bit lumpy, but not a major problem. Didn't eat breakfast, but looked OK: cereal, toast, pastries (no fruit).

I arrived and asked for the wifi to work. It didn't. The tv needed to be reset. Worked, but the signal was so poor that you couldn't watch it anyway. When asked about that, they said it wasn't their fault. The room was very cramped. Even though I didn't expect a big room, I at least expected and comfortable room. NOPE! Not impressed with the rooms or the staff. I stayed in the basement the first night and was moved to a room on the top floor as the basement room wasn't available the second night. Both rooms had space only for beds with barely any space to move about. Our luggage took up any remaining space. The comforter was extremely old and worn out. I didn't even […] want to touch it, it was disgusting! The bathroom on the top floor was so crammed that when I sat on the toilet, my head would be inside the shower. The bathroom door didn't lock and would prop open on its own while someone's inside. We could constantly smell a foul odor in the room from somewhere. And the heat! The Hotel is clearly undergoing a big refurbishment evident from a poster apologising for the disruption, and banging noises etc. Our room was fully refurbished but tiny. We stayed for 2 nights, and there was nowhere to even lay our suitcase out, and only a tiny rail to hang 4 or 5 items on. The reception area has been upgraded to give an excellent first impression. As soon as you go to the stairs. it becomes clear that the money has not filtered through to all areas.Renovations appear to be on-going, and the common areas show this. The room we had (for 2 adults and one 15 year old) was adequate for our very limited requirements. The room […] was always cleaned and the beds were comfortable. The en-suite shower room was tiny, but the shower and cubicle were fine. There were two main disappointments. First, in the room itself, there was almost no hanging or drawer space at all. A corner unit with two hangers and a single low shelf would be poor even for a single overnight traveller. For a family room booked for four nights, wholly inadequate. Secondly, the breakfast was very basic - cutting costs at every turn. Cheap bread, croissants only available if you beat the rush, and coffee from a vending machine. I'd rather have had a few pounds off the price and eat out. Location is faultless, especially if you make yourself familiar with the bus route that has a stop right outside - very useful after a long day out! Overall, whilst I won't rush to go back, I would agree that this is a decent budget hotel - you do get what you pay for. Read more

Lidos er et ok hotel. Det er små men ok værelser. Badeværelser er af nyere stand, men ikke ret store. En tur til London hvor man skal ud og se en masse er det fint, vil man være en del på hotellet er det ikke der rigtige. Hotellet er under oppussing enda, så gangene var litt rotete og støvete. Rommet var derimot nyoppusset og veldig fint. Kjempefint bad, men veldig lite. Veldig hyggelige ansatte. Det eneste negative var at veggene er tynne som papir, så vi våknet midt på natten og lå og hørte på samtalen til de som bodde på naborommet, i tillegg til noe hamring som skjedde […] halv 3 på natten. Hi, ich war diese Woche mit Freundinnen in 2 Hotels in London. Dieses liegt in der Nähe von Westminister Abbey. Mit dem Bus kann man am besten am Trafalgar Square aussteigen und von dort in alle Richtungen fahren, ggf. auch zu Fuss. In Bezug auf die Zimmerausstattung ist zu erwähnen, das es an" Stelle eines Kleiderschranks " nur eine Art Garderobe mit […] Bügeln gab. Im Zimmer ist ein Wasserkocher und verschiedene Teesorten. Leider gab es an Stelle einer Bettdecke nur eine Wolldecke. Diese Wolldecke hatte leider wie die Tagesdecke überall Flecken. Da die Heizung super funktioniert hatte, konnte man auch ohne Bettdecke schlafen. Dafür hatten wir ein neues sauberes Bad, Hygiene 1 A. Es wird momentan überall renoviert, d.h., da wir den ganzen Tag außer Haus waren, haben wir davon (Lärm) nichts mitbekommen. Vorteilhaft ist, das die Buslinie direkt vor dem Hotel liegt. Man steigt auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite ein und abends steigt man direkt vor der Hoteltür aus. Bequemer geht es wahrlich nicht. Das Personal war liebenswert. Für die Preisklasse sollte man sich nicht beschweren, aber ich erwähne es trotzdem, damit man nicht enttäuscht ist. Das Frühstück war spärlich im vgl. zum ersten Hotel, welches günstiger war. Für Londoner Verhältnisse ein scher schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen, ca. 10 min. zur Victoria Station... Sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist etwas spärlich, habe auch das English Breakfast vermisst. Aber alles in allem ein sehr schönes, sauberes Hotel.

Hotellin sijainti oli loistava (monet nähtävyydet olivat kävelymatkan päässä). Palvelu oli hyvää. Huone oli siisti, mutta pienehkö. Huoneessa oli vedenkeitin, teetä ja kahvia. Hotellin aamiainen oli melko vaatimaton ja aamiaishuone ahdas. Hintaansa nähden hotelli oli kuitenkin mielestäni oikein hyvä. :)

Frukosten var internationell och serverades i ett ganska litet rum med många gäster i samtidigt, Kaffe, the, juice, toast, croiassant, smör, marmelad, olika flingor och mjölk fanns att välja på . O hotel é simples, porém muito bem localizado. O quarto é pequeno, mas confortável. A única coisa que deixou a desejar foi o café da manhã, que não tem muitas opções. O local também está passando por uma reforma, e isso pode atrapalhar os hospedes, dependendo da localização do quarto.

Das Hotel liegt an der Belgrave Road, es war immer äusserst ruhig. Vor dem Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle. 5 Minuten zu Fuss ist die U-Bahnstation Pimlico. Ca. 10 Min. zu Fuss zur Victoria Station. Also Verkehrstechnisch optimal. Wir waren vier Nächte dort. Im Zimmer lag ein uralter, schmuddeliger Teppich. Das Bett war viel zu weich, wenn sich Einer […] im Bett bewegte, bewegte sich der Andere automatisch mit. Ein Schrank, um die Kleider einzuräumen? Fehlanzeige. Das Einzige waren 4 Kleiderbügel an der Wand. Das Bad war sehr kein. Also auf's Klo musste man rückwärts ins Bad gehen, da ein wenden schlicht unmöglich war. Aber das Bad war stets sauber, trotz allem muss man das betonen. Das Frühstück war eine herbe Entäuschung, von wegen intercontinental. Auf der Homepage wird mit einem üpigen Frühstück mit Speck und Eiern , sowie Aufschnitt geworben. Alles nur Versprechungen. Es gab Toastbrot, Croissants, Marmelade, Butter, Kaffee, Müsli und Joghurt, thats it. Das Personal war stets freundlich, das Hotel preiswert, trotzdem würde ich dieses Hotel nie wieder buchen. Positivt att hotellet var nyrenoverat men rummet (3-bäddsrum) var extremt trångt, likaså badrummet. Plus för hiss vilket ofta brukar saknas på Londonhotell. Heisen var ny og fin. Trippelrommet var et vanlig (lite) dobbeltrom, hvor de hadde klemt inn en tredje seng. Det ble meget trangt ! Badet var veldig lite og trangt, men nyoppusset med fliser. Rommet var uten aircondition. Frokostrommet var hvitt og "sterilt" med plastmøbler. Ikke hyggelig. I resepsjonen fikk du ikke kjøpt noen ting.
