The staff here were fabulous, even calling our hotel in Rome before we left them to ask a question for us. The room for two adults, a 6'+ 15 yr old and a 16 yr old was more then big enough and bright and airy. The bell tower outside the window was beautiful. Staying here you are close to the Duomo and convenient to the train station, which is fabulous when you are training between cities in Rome. We would most definitely stay here again!

This is the best place to stay. It is in the center of all of the must see sites. The room was large and clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here again. It was so pleasant.

Conveniently near the airport in the heart of Florence, Hotel Leopolda is close to Leopolda Station Exhibition Center, Palazzo dei Congressi, and Fortezza da Basso. Also nearby are Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Statue of David.

The Leopoloda was far from the center of town and cabs are expensive in Florence. There is a tram nearby, but the neighborhood is a bit shady, so we weren't comfortable walking there late at night. The room itself was ok, though we had asked for a double bed and got twins. The biggest problem was that there was no air conditioning and we could not open […] the windows because even when they were closed, the sound of the traffic all night long kept us up. Spend a little more and stay in the middle of town. We really regret staying at the Leopolda. Read more
