We are very satisfy with this hotel. It is located in 5 minutes walking distance from Florence central station. Excellent restaurant next door with 10% for hotel guests. We stayed in one of the unit with kitchen. There are supermarkets nearby. Breakfast is buffet style with many choices. Hotel staff is very helpful. They even helped us to print out train tickets when we purchased on line. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we went to Florence again.

The staff here were fabulous, even calling our hotel in Rome before we left them to ask a question for us. The room for two adults, a 6'+ 15 yr old and a 16 yr old was more then big enough and bright and airy. The bell tower outside the window was beautiful. Staying here you are close to the Duomo and convenient to the train station, which is fabulous when you are training between cities in Rome. We would most definitely stay here again!

A very solid 3 star hotel, very clean, with real towels.I liked the fact that the windows are new and double paned, so regardless of how noisy it gets at night it was always quiet in the room. The staff helped us with a map and advised the root we could take for sight seeing tour. We were given wrong information. Actually, they should have sent a guide to help us to conserve the time and see maximum, most important and beautious monuments in Florence, Actually, it would need two or three days visit.

First, the location is great. It is about 5 min walk from Firenze SMN station and about 2 min to SITA bus terminal. It is within walking distance from all major attractions such as the Duomo. Second, there is a nice restaurant beside the hotel where you can get special set meal at a fantastic price as long as you ask for Hotel Montreal's menu. There […] are a few convenience shops and cafes very nearby. The area around is safe and very brightly lit at night. Third, for those who love shopping, it is near the shopping streets! Fourth, the service is fantastic. Erika and Stefani at the front desk were always there with a smile as well as answering all our questions patiently. The hotel breakfast is ok for 5 euros with breads, jams, butters, cereal, milk, juice as well as hot drinks. Fifth, the room we stay in was huge. We got a queen-sized bed (two single mattresses put together which is a common practice) put a single bed for our son. We had plenty of storage space plus wardrobe. The toilet is huge. You can easily fit a queen-sized bed inside. The room and toilet were well-maintained and kept very clean daily. Wifi is also available throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Montreal. We paid for the cheapest room and it was more than adequate for our needs. Don't get me wrong there was nothing spectacular about it, but it was clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, they remembered our names and were always keen to see how we went after coming […] back from sightseeing. Nice little hotel with friendly staff and well situated at that price. The rooms were kept nicely clean. The downside: The familyroom we got was on the 3 rd. floor and lift goes only to the 1 st. floor. So you have carry the luggage down the maze like hallway and up the narrow steps. The hotel is very close to the trainstation were you can get a taxi or a shuttle to the airport. If you are 4 pers. taxi is the same price as shuttle.
