Our stay was short but very pleasant. We arrived via car from Milan, and our GPS could not locate the hotel. Signage is one sided, and if you arrive from the "wrong" direction, it is easy to miss in the dark. Recommended highly -- just be sure to double check directions.

This was a great find. The girls at the front desk were so helpful, breakfast was terrific, and the osteria across the street has amazing food and wine... at reasonable prices. The hotel and spa are gorgeous (but some of the rooms are dated). Location is outside city center where the tourist sites restaurants and shopping is located but within 20 to 30 minute walk from most. The surrounding area has very little. Its a 15 minute walk from the train station No complaints otherwise.

The San Marco City Resort and Spa is a nice and clean hotel. The location is not at all convenient and it's within walking distance of anything. The hotel itself is nice, but the pictures are misleading. The picture of what looks like a quaint entrance is not the main entrance to the hotel or the lobby. The pool area is nice as well as the patio, the […] restaurant and the breakfast room. The restaurant on the property had a nice menu, but unfortunately did not execute it well and it was very expensive. I would deem it mediocre at best. The breakfast however, was the BEST breakfast I've had at a European hotel. Very clean and very high quality. The room was large and the furnishing were very clean and modern. The bathroom however was ridiculously small (It rivals a cruise ship bathroom). And the stand up shower left little to be desired. Spa area of hotel was beautiful and 4*. Halls where rooms are located were dark and there was stains on the carpet in quite a few locations. Rooms were ok but clean. Bed was hard. Breakfast was what to be expected. Toast, eggs, meats, yogurt, cereal, coffee etc. Service was really great. Everyone was nice. About a 10 euro taxi ride to centre. Spa area […] cost $15euro per person extra. Pool is free and open only from 9am - 2pm. Prima verzorgd hotel. Verbleven in een gerenoveerde zeer schone kamer. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van de Arena en het centrum van Verona. Het hotel heeft gedurende het 'opera seizoen' een busshuttle naar de Arena. Vertrek op meerdere tijdstippen mogelijk. Ook kaarten voor het bijwonen van de opera's aan de hotelreceptie te verkrijgen. Ook na afloop van […] de opera uitvoering is er een busshuttle die door het hotel wordt geregeld. De tijd tussen het einde van de opera uitvoering en het vertrek van de shuttle bus terug na het hotel is helaas te kort. Very clean and neat hotel, friendly, polite and effective staff. Since we were there in the end of July, we really appriciated the working aircon and the pool. But the location not so good, its got no charm at all and the room was very small with tiny bathroom not very modern, but as said before clean. Poor parking abilities.
