Great location close to Deutsche Oper Berlin and served by bus less than 100m walk from the front door, less than 30 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof by bus and S-bahn. Excellent breakfast, one of the best I've had at the price. My only complaint is some smoking jerk in the floor below would blow his garbage out his window and of course it would be sucked directly into my windows. Thankfully the air-conditioning was working perfectly.

Had a really great stay. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed to friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room. The only real complaint I have is that the doors and room are not that well sound proofed and you can hear everything in the hallway. But overall, good comfortable stay.

We stayed a week at the hotel and enjoyed it. Best locaition in Berlin, very close to most museums. also very close to the S & U Bohn and trains. Shopping is near by. I would stay again when in Berlin.

Very nice. No complaints. Had to pay for breakfast and wifi and parking but that seems to be standard in Europe. Breakfast was exceptionally good, great variety and quality. Room was very nice as was Hotel. Front desk staff was friendly, helpfl and spoke good English. Could walk safetly from Hotel to major attractions. On a street car and subway route. Would stay here again.

Everything was very good, including the restaurant. There are only a few things I would change: 1. The room had an old rundowned carpet. No matter how much you vacuum it, it does not look clean. Would much rather have a hardwood floor or something similar. 2. The "business room" is a very tinny space with only one computer. For the money I payed, I would expect a "real" bussiness room with three or four PC's, etc. 3. The espresso coffee machine never worked (although you can get good coffee just about everywhere around the place). Other than that, it is a great hotel ... specially the view, WOW ... awesome ... and the location can't be better. The staff was very friendly too.

"Cheap, basic but worth your money"
Finding this hotel can be a real pain, as the hotel is not well marked though you know you are at the right place! Nevertheless, when you do find it the bathroom will shock you to no end - its so small and narrow. Their free parking though right, is not on their premises. They give you a pre paid Parking Pass for a public parking area. Berlin is so […] full of cars that it took me 30 min plus several circles around the same lot before I caught a break. So be ready for this experience. But all in all, excellent experience as you get parking plus b'fast all in 45 euro. So great VFM. The hotel is only 7-8 min from downtown Berlin via train, so connectivity is great. Absolute VFM. Would recommend and restay!!! Read more
"Waizenegger Hotel in Berlin"
The hotel is in a perfect location, a quiet leafy street off the main shopping street in Charlottenburg, Berlin. With excellent access to several metro stations, it means you can explore Berlin very easily from here - and if you like to walk your way around, it's a good starting point, not that far from the Tiergarten. The staff at the hotel are excellent, […] very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful, though our room could possibly be updated a little; although the window was large, the colour of the walls made it a bit gloomy. "Sub basic Accommodation"
On arrival we noticed the room was very crowded , had a portable shower cabin. which required punp to empty, the space between the foot of the bed and the wall was about 20 cm, one had to move sideways to get to the other side...the one and only wardrobe was of the self assembly type with the dowels showing and leaning on an angle., Very ricketty-Since […] we arrived late in the day, we decided to stay the night. During the following day my wife broke down and cried ,she could not stay under these conditions. We found another hotel near by and moved there on the same day. Theb waizenegger management reminded us of the condition of the booking and charged us full price for two nights( because we moved out after the check out time)of the previous night. The remainder of our booking was charged at 80% of the normal agreed rate. no excuse was accepted for us finding the room not as expected.Private Shower was ok, but shared bathroom seemed to mean toilet along the hallway, which we could not accept..We agree that we looked for budget accommodation, but this was unacceptable..K.J. Man får en känsla av att bo i en lägenhet. Det är ingen lyx men en trevlig stämning. Alla äter frukost vid ett gemensamt stort bord. Ett ypperligt sätt att lära känna andra som är på resa. Rum nr 9 var helt ok. Mycket litet toa/duschrum, tvättställ inne i rummet. Sov väldigt gott.
