      The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

    5 minute walking from the water taxi. If you following the directions on the hotel website and look for the hotel name signs on the nearby building, you should not have a issue.

    I thought this was a great hotel. Nothing fancy and a little bit tacky, though nothing out of character for an standard Italian hotel. Located very near the Fondamenta Nove boat stop, which makes it easy to get to from the train station or bus terminal, and easy to get to Murano and Burano.

    We loved Cassa Boccassini! It was in a wonderful location, right on the island of Venice. Everything was comfortable and clean. The shower was great and the bed was better than most in Europe. Would definitely recommend a stay!

    It's really hard to find at first... please do prepare a detail direction on the map. However, it's very lovely place. except no wifi available. (There is a laptop at the front desk you can use. In fact, there's wifi available, but they don't allow us to use). Other than that, it's nice and cozy.

    My first concern was sharing a bathroom. No need to worry there. We only shared with maybe 5 other rooms and I never saw anyone else. The bathrooms were kept spotless. Our room was great and I loved having our own sink/vanity. For the price, location can't be beat. Super friendly staff. Loved it!

    We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We only stayed for two nights in a room with a shared bathroom. Usually we don't rent a room with a shared bathroom, but it was always clean, had enough warm water and I don't know if we were just lucky, but was always available. There was a misunderstanding with the hotel location, but it was our own fault as we […] used Google Maps (Most of the hotels in Venice have problems with incorrect addresses/locations of their hotel on the Goodle Mape and it took us to the other side of Cannaregio) and not the map on the booking form, but the manager was kind enough to give us directions to the correct water taxi station. We enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back in summer to enjoy their beautiful garden to its fullest. They had a breakfast for 5 euro which was very basic, but well priced if you compare it with prices in Venice. We can definitely recommed this accommodation and would even give them an extra star :) Read more

    Hotellet og dets personale er meget venligt og hyggeligt. De har en lille gårdhave, man kan benytte. Og så ligger hotellet lidt væk fra hovedgadens larm, men tæt ved vandet, hvor du har mulighed for at tage en båd ud til de omkringliggende øer. Generelt er Venedig ret dyrt - regn ca med dobbelt pris af de vanlige priser i Italien.

    Dette hotellet er god valuta for pengene. Det er reint og fint, og rommene inneholder det mest nødvendige. Ligger i et rolig strøk og har en super beliggenhet i forhold til stoppested for flyplassbåten. Tok ikke lang tid å komme seg til Rialto-broen, og like ned i gata ligger barer og restauranter.
