"Günstig gelegenes Hotel"
Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung und bemerkten, dass viele Touristen dieses Hotel als Unterkunft gebucht haben. Das Frühstück war erstaunlich umfangreichGenuine Expedia guest review
"perfect for business travel"
Hotel is simple but completely acceptable for business purposes. Breakfast is not the best but no one would starve. Personnel are friendly and helpful.

This hotel is not convenient from the airport unless you are willing to take the bus and then the train. Taxi is $50- not a good idea. We used the train/bus to return to the airport. Room was very nice and staff was helpful- nice outside seating area. Coffee in the morning would be a plus. Good value for the money if you can figure out how to get there.

Very conveniently located, a 5 minute walk from the nearby metro, close to shops and restaurants in a peaceful and safe environment. Both the nigh shift and morning shift receptionist were most helpful in resolving a booking misunderstanding that allowed me to stay without any inconvenience. A hearty continental breakfast to start the day in a peaceful well organised and serviced dining room. Would certainly go back and recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable homely environment.
"Very nice and quiet hotel"

We stayed at the Hoffinger two days, but it was enough to understand that it's very convenient place for visiting Vienna - they have free parking for 7-8 cars, free continental breakfast, situated not far from Alterlaa metro station (only a few minutes walk), but in a very peaceful district! It takes 15 minutes to get to the historic center of Vienna! Really recommended!))
"Excellent Customer Service"

We got lost driving into the city and arrived at 10pm with no cash after 10 hours on the road. The receptionist couldn’t do enough to help us, she gave us advice about take away places and cash machines in the area, she moved her own car so we could park, and even rang up and ordered a pizza for us! We were so tired and hungry and really appreciated this. Very impressed with the quality of service. Really lovely hotel great value for money and a cracking breakfast. It is a residential area but very close to a train station. Great for if you are driving and want to leave your car during the day.
"Nothing like the pics on the Internet...."

We were very disappointed with this hotel. It is so far from the city centre (approximately 20km). The rooms are out of date, nothing like what they show on the Internet and their brochure. I think the time stopped there 30 years ago. Hotel should have maximum one star. Don't even try to go for breakfast....not much selection and not very good (cheap salami, cheese etc....).I will prefer next time pay little bit more than this.
"Nice location, nice staff but poor hotel"

So, we went in a very non-traditional honeymoon to Austria, Vienna. We stayed for 3 nights at Hoffinger Hotel. What we liked from the beginning was the location, very peaceful neighborhood, very close to the center of the city and to the highway, we had a shopping mall nearby and also a bus and subway station. We also liked that the receptionist was very nice and explained everything and the fact that the hotel is very intimate. It is a small hotel, the kind that leaves u the impression that u know everyone. what we didn't like was the room, very small, but that would not have been an issue if the window had worked well or we could enjoy the silence. The walls were like they never existed, if some other guests were on the terrace we could hear everything they talked with our window closed. The shower cabin was one of the smallest i have ever seen. I could not wash my hair without hitting something. The mattress had a little hole and i could easily sink into it. The breakfast was absolutely boring, every morning the same thing (boiled eggs, ham (2 kinds), 1 salami, 1 kind of cheese, jam, butter, cereals and drinks). We wanted to have a consistent breakfast at the hotel because the rest of the day we were visiting, so not having much time for lunch, but we expected at least an omelette or something a little bit different. Anyhow, we found out that Vienna is an expensive city (for us at least), so, i guess that for those money, Hoffinger Hotel is a fine accommodation. I would not come here again if i ever return to Vienna (and i probably will return). Besides that, the city was amazing, very nice, lots of places to see and things to to.
"good start for a low budget vienna trip"

on location: the subway station is about 5 mins walk from the hotel, there are more grocery stores near to it, and the subway runs also over the night. it of course is not located in the city centre, but if you visit a ciy it also might be interesting, how it looks outside of the " Ring". you have to see the part of Vienna without the glamourous buildings and horse carriages. the hotel itself was really nice, the staff was kind, the rooms were also okay. ours also had a little piece of a balcony, but the rooms with the street view were also silent. the furniture and the bathroom were clean, with not the most recent furniture. the breakfast was very satisfying, with a modest selection. i would recommend it to people, who want to spend some days in Vienna to visit the city, and want a budget, but still good accomodation there.
"Good value for money"
08/23/11 Paulina L Warsaw, Poland
The hotel is pretty oldish but very clean. The rooms capacity is fair enough for 2 people with a quite big bathroom with a bath. Furniture old but stylish. Corridors and hall in nice and stylish austrian style. Decent breafast. Minuses - very thin walls - you can hear almost every word of people living next door. Quite far away from the citi centre. About 10 mins walk to the tube (runs until midnight) and then you need to change the tube lines since there is no direct one. Situated in a villa area. Generally good value for money. I would stay there again.
"Clean and pleasant hotel"

The hotel is very clean, and it is nice and silent to rest after a long daily walk in the town. U-bahn is about 10-15 minutes walk. Hotel is located in non-touristic area, but with the U-bahn the city center is reachable in 20 minutes. We didnt take breakfast, I think it is not worth 15EUR per person anyway. And it is served just up to 09:30h. We had a free parking place, and free wireless internet in the room, what was just what we wanted in additional. I would come here again, and I would recommend it to my friends.
"Timewarp in the middle of nowhere"
11/28/10 Karabiber Graz, Austria
This place is in the middle of nowhere and there is no reason to stay at a hotel there. The neighborhood is a remote, unappealing residential area. The area is depressing and close to nothing. The location is only saved by the subway stop around 10 minutes away which takes you to town in about 30 minutes. The hotel itself is old-fashioned in 70ies style, with not very pleasant rooms, a tiny TV and little to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is decent, but for Austrian standards distinctly mediocre.
