"Perfect hotel for a night in Vienna."
I stayed in this hotel for one night after a very poor experience in a hotel down the road. I cannot recommend this place enough. I got there over an hour and a half before check in to find my room was ready for me. The staff were very pleasant. The double bed was comfortable. The free wifi was good. The breakfast was served from 7 til 11 but it wasn't […] the biggest selection. Still, it was included with the room so I can't complain. All in all, a very pleasant night.

"Upgraded to neighbor"
During my visit to Vienna so many others decided to be there also, that the hotel which I had reserved was booked full. So upon arrival, they transferred my accommodation to a nearby hotel belonging to the same chain. Absolutely no complaints - tidy and modern interiors, silent, nice staff, working internet, stylish bathtub, decent breakfast. However […] the surrounding area, which is same for these both hotels, appears a little boring with only residential blocks and a park. In an austrian manner, the few shops/grocery stores in nearby close early, so I couldn't find anything to eat closer than by walking to the railway station. The stores there sell turkish groceries, but at least that's something.
Bra frukostbuffe!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Peace and quiet"
Convenient location. In the bustling city, this hotel is located in a very quiet place. You can open the window, and no other sounds will not bother you. Very friendly staff at the reception. Quality is fully consistent with price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel a prix raisonnable"

Location: just 5 minutes away by foot to KARLSPLATZ where you will find an underground passage that leads you to city centre/ Opera. Rooms: clean, tidy, ergonomic, stylish and, depending on which side you are, an mazing view from 4th, 5th and 6th floor. Breakfast: exactly what you need. Staff: Polite receptionists, kind breakfast staff(a lady) who was puting a smile on my face every time i saw her. All in all, for what we paid, was more than expected.

Stayed for 4 nights bed and breakfast. Good sized rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to Centre or underground. Felt very safe. Would definitely return and recommend. Staff friendly and helpful.
"Cozy small hotel,close to Belvedere"
10/02/14 Dana C Cold Lake
There are lots of positives about this hotel. Its under 10 min walk to gorgeous Belvedere Palace and gardens. the metro stop, convenience store and restaurants are all within 10 min walk and with rooms on higher floors you do get a lovely views towards centre of Vienna with Stephansdome. The staff is very helpful regarding any suggestions about places to eat or visit and breakfast is delicious and so is the coffee, like everywhere else in Vienna. We did have a problem with ants in the room and didn't understand how they got so high up until we found out the owner has a rooftop garden. The rooms need to be checked for infestation before guests arrive, nobody wants ants in beds... The bathrooms might need upgrade as well, looked pretty 'tired',but overall good small central hotel for travellers on budget. There is no restaurant or a pool in the hotel and there's not much to do around hotel if you have small kids but we just walked to the metro and headed for the centre.
"Nice friendly hotel close to city centre & tube"
09/20/14 rajepreston preston
We were 3 couples staying in this hotel in 3 rooms. This is a small but very friendly hotel quite close to city centre. The tube station is also close. At 5-10 mins walk, there are different cuisine restaurants available. The rooms are small but have panoramic windows which doesn't make it feel small at all. Rooms have AC & satellite TV. Breakfast is continental. No kettle in rooms though. Rooms have hair dryer. Staff are very friendly, polite & eager to help. Maintainence of TV & AC in some rooms can be improved. Water was leaking from the ceiling AC vent in my friend's room. TV in my room was not working & took 2 days to repair. The hotel needs to be run a bit more professionally. Cleanliness was an issue. There were hairs in the room, glass in the bathroom was mucky & chocolate wrappers in the fridge. Apart from cleanliness of my room everything else is ' you get what you pay for'. Probably it was only my room which was not cleaned properly as my 2 other friends didn't have any issues with cleanliness. This is a decent budget hotel, a 3 star which is in a good location.
"Vienna's little sectret"
07/02/14 Jelena P Santa Barbara, California
We stayed in this hotel for a month and we could not have picked the better place! The staff was polite, friendly, helpful; kudos to Petra (hope you do well in management, you deserve it). Breakfast lady treats the guest as their own family members. Cleaning staff kept the rooms hospital clean, front desk staff always with a smile and eager to assist. The hotel is only 10 or so walking minutes to center of Vienna. They're reasonably priced considering above mentioned qualities. Not to make this hotel sound perfect I did have one suggestion, the breakfast menu stayed the same for 30 days and that got old after second week! I was going to skip the review and selfishly keep this hotel as my own little secret, like secret fishing hole, but that would be unfair to the hotel that tries so hard to do well by all of us!

My first time in ClimaCityHotel was 4 years ago. But from then a was here 6times. Everytime i had best experience in CCH. I usually stay about 5-6days, and always take 3beds room and breakfast. Room is fine for this price (price is very good), bathroom is comfortable (i had but tubs). Breakfast is one of the best i have ever ate. Also CCS is very close to downtown Vienna (15min walk). And subway station is also close.
"In Vienna, in raining days"
06/04/14 Nicoletatravels Bucharest, Romania
I came to Vienna on 23rd of April on business (conference) and I did not stay long; only for four days, all of them raining days. This it was my first visit, but on such weather it was not quite a pleasure to wander about in the city. Still, I managed to see something. Clima City is at a little distance from the city center, but this is not a great inconvenience if you want to see it in as many diverse aspects as possible. The rooms are not very large, but comfortable and some of them (like mine) have a beautiful view to the Belvedere Park, which is nearby. And this gives you, as a guest, a few pleasant moments in the mornings and in the evenings, when you see the sun and the city lights. You can enjoy a continental breakfast and you can obtain any information you need from the staff. And, although I had a little problem with my card, they were more then helpful. The hotel is not cheap, but we also must not forget that Vienna is an important european city and if you want to be as close as possible to the city center then you have to pay. For what it offers, Clima City Hotel is a great value and if I would probably come again.
"Great location + value for money"
05/03/14 Geojan Lisbon, Portugal
I stayed at Clima City for 6 nights and was there for EGU-2014. It's a great hotel for a conference go'er or a tourist. On arrival I asked for a room in the uppermost floors (5th and 6th) and the reception girl, who was very courteous to me (so was everyone else), offered me a room in the 5th floor (no. 52) with the (great) street view. Floors below the 5th will not have this view. All floors are accessible by lift and stairs. The room was extremely clean and was kept in that form through out the 7 days I was there by maids. There was a TV (one English movie channel, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, and a bunch of Austrian channels), a small fridge, a small closet (~9'x3'), a desk, a telephone, a queen size bed, and very large windows with ample light. The toilet is small (enough for me) and a shower cubicle (no tub). Water heats up in seconds. Breakfast (7 - 10 am) is limited (typical continental), warm croissants, fresh bread, butter, jam, ham, turkey, cheese, slices of tomato and cucumber, cereal, coffee, juices (orange/other), milk, sugar etc (no fruit). There aren't too many food options around the hotel except for a couple of kebab places. Access: I took a taxi (40 Euros) from the airport (VIE) because this was my first visit to Vienna. Later I realised that it was unnecessary. Just hop on the S7 train (4.20 Euros) at the door step of the airport, get down at Praterstern (<30 mins), and then get U1 subway line (2.10 Euros) towards Reumannplatz and get down at Taubstummengasse. It's a short walk (3 mins) from there to the hotel on Theresianumgasse street (take a right at Taubstummengasse and walk 1:30 mins). Bottom line, I overspent ~34 euros by taking a taxi. Getting to the Vienna International Center (VIC): Hop on U1 at Taubstummengasse and get down at Kaisermülen. It's 1 min by foot from there to VIC. You can visit any other tourist destination (e.g. Shwedenplatz, Stephanplatz) by hopping on U1 and the great thing is you don't have to change trains. Subway connectivity in Vienna is perfect so you need not worry about getting around. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
"clima hotel vienna"
A very basic hotel and quite a distance from nearest metro station. Not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Good points are the cleanliness and comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was just o.k. as I am not a fan of "plastic" cut meats. The selection of breads and croissants was fine. If visiting Vienna again would want a more central hotel.
"Better than expected"
10/21/13 PaulinVence Nelson, New Zealand
A simple hotel in an excellent part of Vienna that is not expensive and has been totally refurbished recently. We were invited for a social gathering and spent a weekend in Vienna at the Clima City Hotel. It is a 38€ taxi ride from the airport. B&B for 2 is 90€ a night which for Vienna is perfectly acceptable. Just be careful on your choice of rooms. The ones at the back away from the street are much bigger.
