the hotel was the only one open after all floods that happen in October.walking distance to the gruta. everything here is up the hilland downs hills. the great thing was had kitchen , with microwave so we managed. The food here is very expense. we go the market in center and buy fresh cooked food. the market closes at 1pm every day indoor and fresh fruits is outdoor. supermarket across the street from market. but its a hike, the staff is very friendly. we had a problem with hot water and they change our room right away. if you want to go lourdes . Go off season trust me. No one speaks english, so we managed with our spanish. everything expensive. Lourdes only had one mass and one rosary a day the baths at santuary 2hrs a day. that was amazing.

This hotel was in a great location to visit the grotto and city center. Our double room was typically European to small, but the hotel was very pretty. The staff could improve their promptness in staffing the front desk/reception area.

Her room was clean (even for her, and she's a bit of a... clean freak) and quiet, and the breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. But what really struck her was the kindness of the staff. When my wife lost her purse containing her cash and credit cards, the owner went out of her way to help. Her son drove my wife to the police station to file a report, then to two Western Union offices (the first was closed) to get some replacement cash. It was uncommon generosity in a real hour of need. Very central, clean and modern hotel. Walking distance from shopping and two minutes from a square with lovely restaurants. The staff were lovely, from sorting parking(driving in Pau though is horrendous) to reserving us a table at a restaurant in Biarritz for my husbands birthday the next evening. Will definitely stay again if in Pau.

L'hotel a le gros avantage d'etre situé en plein centre ville, a 5 minutes du chateau de Pau. les chambres sont propres, l'équipement est fonctionnel. le seul bémol est que la climatisation est gérée au niveau accueil et qu'il faut insister pour qu'on nous l'allume...

Besonders geschätzt habe ich den kostenlosen […] Internet-Zugang im Zimmer. Die Gesellschaftsräume sind sehr gemütlich (Reception, Billiardraum, kleine Bar-Lounge). Das Frühstücksbuffet war für den Preis reichhaltig und qualitativ hervorragend. Das absolute Highlight aber war der perfekte Housekeeping-Service (Sauberkeit) und die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer-Familie. Ich fühlte mich wirklich als geschätzter Gast!
