We were very pleased with our stay at the Majestic. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke english. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom/shower was great -- modern and great water pressure. We are 2 healthy 32 year-old adults but thought the walk to the Grotto and all the sights was short and convenient. You actually pass by all the shops on your way so it's a good opportunity to pick-up souvenirs at the end of the day. Granted we saw hotels much closer to the Grotto but again, we didn't think it was far at all. Also, there is no A/C but the windows open nice and wide to let the fresh air in. We are "high-maintenance" travelers and really enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for the pilgrimage.

The hotel is very nice the kitchen has everything our family need to prepare food for the family. Parking was superr, and the location was perfect. My only "problem" is the internet coverage in the room, it was very low. But overall No complains, I will go back to the same hotel if I return to Lourdes. The staff very helpful. Thank you.

The breakfast was not worth 9 euros but I had a kitchentte and microwave, so went to the market and bought food and made it very convenient.

Convenient hotel, close to St. Joseph's gat, shops, etc. Sign up for the full board--the meals are very nice.
Location.
Situated in Pau, Best Western Continental is close to Musee des Beaux-Arts, Chateau de Pau, and Palais Beaumont. Also nearby are Musee Bernadotte and Beaumont Park.

My only complaint about this hotel is the cost of the breakfast, at 9 Euros it was expensive..... This hotel is very well situated in central Pau, a taxi from the airport would cost roughlt 25/30 Euros, catch the bus, it stops practically outside the hotel, cost 1 Euro... "Best Western Continental"
Hotel staff were extremely helpful. Room was very clean - the only minus point was there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room - although you could go to the restaurant and help yourself to one in the morning. Hotel very close to town centre and about a 30 minute walk from train station.
"Best Western, Pau"
The location of this hotel is ideal for walking around Pau - close to the shops and Chateau. However, it is a little dated and lacks items such as tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are also a bit small and dated. The staff were friendly though!!
"Bel hôtel de tradition"
Très grande chambre: nous avons été sur-classé à notre arrivée. Accueil très aimable et professionnel, tout ce qu'on peut attendre d'un séjour.
Excellent accueil, bonne situation. Chambre vieillote et literie inconfortable. Les cannelés du petit déjeuner sont délicieux, dommage que la télé soit allumée d'office dans la salle du petit déjuener.

Beautiful hotel, our room was just like the ones in the movies about Paris. Excellent location with great shopping and resturants. This was a treasure to experience.

C'est un hôtel três vieux, même historique et quand on y pense tout était bien. On a bien aimé qu'on pouvait avoir le petit dejeuner dans la chambre. C'a aurait très bien bien si on a indiqué l'acces à l'hotel sur la confirmation, car c'était tout a fait impossible a trouver!! Le personel était très acceuillant et aimable.
