The staff was great, the location is great for a business person coming from the airport. The train is right across the street, and the main train station and buses and metro are right nextdoor too. BUT it is a cab (or metro or bus) ride from the historic area so be advised. Also, there is no gym/exercise room. And when it's cold in Lyon or snowing, your only choice is to eat :). It's in a very commercial area so there don't seem to be fine real French restaurants around. So the bottom line is, good for a business person with appointments close by. Not quite so good for tourists.

Our family found the hotel excellent for the price. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and good size. The bed room and the livving space are clean and large, but the kitchen is tiny, only allow 1 person working at a time. We didn't use the cafeteria but all front desk staff speak good English and helpful. The underground garage is tight for a mini van but managible and very secured - the elevator is code controled and you're given a key for the door. Immediate surrounding is quiet but there are family restaurants, supermarket and metro station right outside the hotel.

A améliorer deux points : Chambre située sur cour d'où voisinage et surtout interdisant toute communication avec mon téléphone portable SFR.. j'ai dû descendre quatre fois dans la soirée dans le hall pour téléphoner. Je reviens le 27 et ai demandé une chambre avec fenêtre sur rue. 2ème difficulté : clé "tordue" rendant très difficile l'ouverture et […] la fermeture de la porte surtout au regard de mes déplacements pour téléphoner : à l'accueil, on m'a indiqué ne pas avoir de double en bon état !
