This was a great pit stop for my mid winter vistit to La Clusaz. Friendly staff gave me a late check out so i could finish up some work and also led me to the best meal I had on my trip just nearby in a sleepy little village with an authentic french dining gem of an otherwise unfindable spot (for me). This is not a spot that is walking distance from all of the action, but it is very short driving distance from anything you could imagine and my guess is its vibe is more bustling in the spring summer and fall months when the gold course and lake are at prime season. No regrets and i will be back.

Great location. Could walk to nearby restaurants. Relight next to the lake and the beautiful promanad. A bit far from the downtown center.

Located in Aix-les-Bains (Lake Bourget), Auberge Saint Simond is close to Grand Cercle Casino, Chateau de la Roche du Roi, and Aix-les-Bains Golf Club. Additional area attractions include Abbaye d'Hautecombe and Lac du Bourget.

We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our 2 night stay. We had a superb lunch whilst waiting for our room on the first day and excellent... Dinner on the second night. The Auberge being well kown in the area for the excellence of its cuisine, dining is a delight and not to be missed. There is a small swimming pool in the grounds which we made good use of. A car is needed to get to the nearby Lake and Town. A great find and worth a couple of days stay or more. Some road noise and trains run to the rear but not too much of a problem. I will be back. Hotel très agréable, propre et lumineux. Le personnel aimable et souriant. une cuisine de qualité et une piscine chauffée très sympathique dans une petit coin de verdure avec terrasse. Un sejour un peu court mais on en garde un bon souvenir et l'on reviendra avec plaisir.

I visited the hotel with my parents and we were very happy with our stay. The owners and personnel were very welcoming and helpful when we needed information and assistance. We had dinner utside at the hotel the first night and were satisfied. It was also very agreable to have a swim in the pool in the afternoons. The room was nice, although quite […] warm.
