This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times have been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is quiet but no more than a five minute walk from Juan Les Pins shopping and restaurant area. It is an old style French hotel but the rooms I have been in have been very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our three kids for business/vacation for a week. The hotel is beautiful, and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind to the children. The "boys' room" was spacious, but the "girls' room" had two "princess beds" with blue draperies and pink lace reading lamps -- amazing. We did not get the hotel breakfast, but there is a boulangerie directly behind (one block) the hotel with great French breakfast items. If you are feeling flush, Petrossian (two blocks behind the hotel) also has breakfast. Highlights for the kids were the multiple pieces of sea glass (aka "diamonds" and "emeralds") on the rocky beach, the 40,000 BC human footprint at the Terra Amata museum, the try-it-on Roman helmet at the Roman ruins at Ciminez, the many "smell it" displays at the perfume museum in Grasse, Josephine's crown at the Massena museum, the guinea pig house at Parc Phoenix, and the playground on the castle hill. We took the public bus everywhere and the French people were so nice to us (it helps to speak a little French, but we limped along and they were very patient.) Hotel staff almost always spoke English better than my French. Deserving of more than five stars, if we could give them.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean. Overall it was a great stay. We didn't use the bar or eat there so we can't comment on those... facilities. There was one negative: the walls of the room were paper thin. We could hear the conversations of the people next door! That aside it was a very comfortable hotel. Nothing special, just price and location. Not so far away from beach. If you lucky, free parking on the street near hotel for night. I don't like this hotel, next time will choose something more elegant.

We booked a standard double which was fine for my Wife and I as we mainly just wanted a base from which to go and explore Cannes. The room wasn't the biggest so I'd suggest one of their large rooms if you need a bit more space. However, for the rate we paid we cannot complain at all. The hotel is about 20 mins stroll from the main part of Cannes and […] 5--10 mins from the beach. The highlight for us however was how helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much and they were more than happy to provide us with advice as to where to go in Cannes. We were on a mini tour of France and the Hotel Director spent ages with us advising us about our trip ahead and and got us a great room and rate at a lovey hotel in Julieneas. Th Logis Ruc is a wonderful, charming hotel situated very close to the train station and the beach yet is on a very quiet street. The room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. It was a little on the small side but, then again, I did book a single room! The lack of a shower curtain was inconvenient but I was told that they are refitting the rooms […] soon. The staff were exceptional and the service was exemplary. Choosing Logis Ruc was an excellent decision and I would stay there again any day and highly recommend it. Ruc Hotell i Cannes är ett mycket trevligt litet hotell. Det känns både franskt och pittoreskt. Jag och min flickvän tillbringade 3 dagar i Cannes och bodde på RUC hotell. Bara en kort promenad till shoppinggatan och till stranden så ligger hotellet fint beläget på en tyst gata. Kan varmt rekommenderas.

Vi overnattet her 3 dager og hadde en utelukkende positiv opplevelse, stort sett pga de som jobber der. De franske resepsjonistene snakket rimelig god engelsk og den ene av dem var amerikaner og en fornøyelse å prate med. Vi ble forklart alt vi burde få med oss og mer. Man følte seg litt slem når man kom hjem til hotellet klokken 3 om natten og måtte […] ringe på døra så en av dem kunne slippe deg inn :) Det eneste negative må være størrelsen på rommet og det faktum at dusjen ikke hadde dusjforheng. Badekaret som følger med er svært lite, så hvis du (som meg) er over 190cm vil du få problemer med å ta et avslappende bad. Men det fungerer! Strykejern/brett fant vi i kjelleren, og så ut som om det var fra 50-tallet, men det fungerte iallefall. Frokosten serveres også i kjelleren men det var et lite fristende sted å spise, så vi holdt oss unna. Ville gjerne bodd her igjen neste gang, hovedskalig pga betjeningen. Du får mye for pengene, spesielt når du ser hvor mye de skal ha for et hotell på stranden, som ligger 4-5 minutter unna. Read more
