My stay was great. Perfect location. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Yhe only isue we experienced were some noisy neighbors, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything.

Only blocks from the metro, restaurants, grocery stores, and the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood was very clean and felt safe. The bathrooms are small but it's Europe so get used to it. The room was basic but adequate. The front desk booked an airport shuttle for us and even called the driver when one of our party forget his passport in the room.

I book this hotel for a 3 night stay in Paris with my husband. The hotel had been mentioned in Rick Steve's "Paris" tour guide. The location of the hotel was fantastic. It was easily within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumphe. The nearby restaurants, cafes, and bakeries were delicious! We were a little disappointed […] with the room. Our only window faced into a tiny courtyard that had windows also open to the hallway. Basically, we had to keep the shade closed so that all the other guests couldn't see into our room. The room was small, but we were only spending time in the room to sleep, so it wasn't really an issue. The rooms on higher floors might not have had this issue. It wasn't a luxury hotel. The towels were old and scratchy, and the sheets weren't soft. But, it was clean, well located, and very affordable. The staff was friendly and helpful. And, the wifi worked great. Read more

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past, and I have now observed four stages of remodeling. The latest rework has produced a very attractive and functional hotel, which makes optimal use of space in small rooms. Its location in the 7th Arrondissement is also a plus.

My husband & I had a room with 2 twin beds; what they call a double is a large bed but definitely not a king size.The room was very small, no room for a chair or night tables but they created a cubby from closets on each side of the bed to use as night tables. The bathroom was tight, had a small shower; sitting straight on the toilet was impossible! […] However it was clean and our window looked out on the little side street. They advertise an inner courtyard but we never saw it. Luckily we could keep the window closed.No A/C so a hot summer night would not be pleasant. There were many decent restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Metro. Staff was very nice and helpful. We spent very little time in the room so it was a good value for our 4 nights. If we went in the summer, we might look for a place with A/C which we know would cost a lot more. Shuttle to CDG airport (15 miles) cost 55 Euros. Read more

The hotel is very near the Eiffel Tower (as it's name says), and off the main street - which is good. Compared to Paris hotels, it's below average, but not too bad. American standards, would be low. The room had the "double lock" keyed handle, with a "second" door inside. The room was tiny and no desk, one outlet and like many Parisian hotels, no air […] conditioning. Was a dark room too - facing an inside tiny air shaft. Though there were rooms on the street facing side, none were offered. Bathroom was tiny with a toilet placed in a way that it could only be used "side-saddle", unless you were 4'8" tall. The world's smallest flat screen tv was in the room, which I guess made sense since you were in Paris (meaning: go out don't stay in here). Very sparse decor, and no ameneties like "ice" or "vending", but there are a few stores in the area (nice), and a number of mid to upscale restaurants (pricey but nice). The hotel did have internet connection (very slow compared to U.S. standards), but very "computer dependent" - they met out "connection" as if it were "gold coins". For those reasons, the "location" is it's only and strongest merit. The price was a bit off-putting for what the room was as well. Minor upgrades and some ameneties would make it a better hotel. The "room" was very small, but par for 1-2 star Paris hotel rooms I've seen so far. No air, updated bathroom, but the toilet was in a position that only person could use it would be less than 5' tall and very short legs at that! They cleaned and "freshened" the room, but gave me a room on the back of the building - facing an "air shaft" that doubled […] as a "court yard", which made it quiet, but a bit depressing. Definitely made you go out on the city. Also, the world's tiniest flat screen television. My laptop was bigger than it. Saving grace? 3 blocks from Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Midway between Metro stops, but lots of restaurants, food stores, and the such. Location was the main (maybe only) saving grace. Odd door "configuration" - double unlock the door with a key attached to a 10oz paper weight, that is spring loaded passing to another spring loaded door. Made it hard to get luggage in and out - but for the size of the room, who could have luggage?! Absolutely no desk, this room was so small. But if you're backpacking it in Paris, are under 25, and looking for cheap accomodations near the Eiffel Tower, this is your place. Did have internet though (a saving grace too). Read more

The staff was incredibly helpful. The room was a bit small, especially for three people. It was warm as there is no a/c, but they gave us a fan which made it fine. A bit difficult to find, but very convienent to the Eiffel Tower.

The location is superb, surrounded by lovely shops and cafes. The Eiffel tower was only a few minutes walk away. The hotel was very basic, but very clean. If you need a 'base' in Paris, then this hotel is perfect. We got a triple room, the extra bed was comfy.

I visited Paris with my 8-year old daughter for a couple of days in July 2011. We were looking for a quiet, clean, inexpensive place to just sleep, as close to sights as possible. Hotel de la Tour Eiffel was just perfect for it! Very small room with double bed and newly renovated bathroom. Friendly staff, TV, Wifi, french balcony with flowers outside. Bad […] smell from the drain (that I think is mainly Paris' fault, not the hotel's) and stains on carpets, yes, but overall a good impression. No AC, so do not pick if very hot outside. On the same tiny street, just steps away, we tried 3 excellent and inexpensive restaurants (and there were more). Cute little bakery on the crossing street, for breakfast (to be recommended, hotel breakfast is probably not worth it compared to eating Paris style for € 1-2 pp). 5 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and Champ-de-Mars, that my daughter loved to visit many many times. Rue Cler (a few blocks in the other direction) is a wonderful pedestrian street with Paris' best cheese-shop and fruit stands, restaurants etc. Comfortable walking dstance to Metro stations from the hotel. So all in all a hotel that for the price is worth it if you are in Paris to do other things than spend time in your room. Read more

I had booked 1 single room and a double room - we got two single rooms!! At the door, the landing needed a good hoovering. The room was very small as was the bathroom, and the paintwork was dirty, marks all over it. The only saving grace was that we were only there for one night and the location was good, close to the Eiffel Tower.

Great location, small room but comfortable. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper! There were late night doors and sounds as it's a small hotel. We enjoyed the neighborhood, it has many shops, restaurants, and boulangeries to choose from. Easy walking distance to metro stops and Eiffel Tower.

Small affordable Hotel near Eiffel Tower and Champs de Mars Park. Was chosen because I needed it for one night and it was just across the the street of a favorite (possible the smallest petit gourmet restaurant of Paris) named Le Petit Toquet where I wanted to take some friends out to dinner. Rooms are small (building built as apartement) but renovated […] with to quality bathsroom. No breakfast but that is not a problem in Paris where there are Cafes (with breakfast) at every streetcorner. It is relatively far from the next Metro (Ecole Militaire) but there is even a city bus line for one stop to get close if you are good reading maps. The heat was a bit too high (but with know to turn it down at the radiatior). The only deficiency is that the free WiFi was incompetently installed (all the Hotels access point and a dozen access points of some neighbors everything on Channel 11) and was hard to use But all in all an excellent value for the price, if the customer needs just a good bed. Séjour professionnel, hôtel très correct pour ce type de déplacement. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas pris sur place mais c'est indiqué lors de la réservation, il est possible de le prendre tout proche de l'hôtel (même pas à 100m), petit déjeuner correct dans une boulangerie. Il personale non lo definirei proprio "poliglotta" come c'è scritto nella presentazione dell'hotel;l'italiano per esempio non viene parlato, forse solo un po' capito; inoltre non c'è molta disponibilità e gentilezza. L'ambiente in generale è un po' piccolo, i letti sono molto comodi, ma ad esempio il mio lenzuolo era bucato...la moquette è molto sudicia, […] è semplicemente vecchia e la meglio sarebbe cambiarla del tutto!! Il bagno in camera invece è molto carino, sembrava tutto nuovo, anche se gli asciugamani in 4 giorni di soggiorno presso l'hotel non vengono mai cambiati,si li ripiegano e li ripongono in bagno dove li hanno trovati, ma senza cambiarli. L'hotel vale molto per la sua posizione, vicino a due metro, la tour eiffel può esser tranquillamente raggiunta a piedi...ci sono vari ristoranti, pizzerie italiane e molto buone, super market, negozi...il quartiere è tranquillissimo, sia di giorno che di notte!!! Et typisk fransk småhotell i Paris. Hyggelig og grei betjening og med gunstig beliggenhet bare noen hundre meter unna Eiffeltårnet. Metro, buss og RER er også nærme, og 50 meter unna hotellet befinner en veldig god restaurant seg; det lønner seg å bestille bord, ettersom den har en god vinkjeller som er populær...
