      I am a return guest to the Estherea. The hotel is quite enjoyable. One can tell that it is a labor of love on the part of the owner and staff. Some visitors from abroad my find the room size cramped but this is, in my opinion, more of an issue with European hotels and less with the Estherea. The Estherea is in a great location, it is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I recommend it highly.

      The staff was very friendly and helpful! My only suggestion would be to give more detailed instructions on how to arrive from the airport to the hotel. It is not included in the hotel shuttles and we had a hard time finding out how to take the public transportation. Ended up taking a taxi which cost €40. But it is worth the trouble. Very nice hotel and includes a nice breakfast. We would definitely stay again if visiting Amsterdam.

      Only stayed here 1 night - it was convenient and cheaper than the airport hotels for an overnight. Right acrosss the street from the central train station (5 minutes walk), 4.40 Euro and <30 minutes to the airport, lots of restauraunts in the area and plenty of shops - conevnient for luggage as well! Free wifi new TV's. Would stay here again.

      This hotel is good value for the money. The room was big, clean and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel is very close to tram stations, restaurants and super markets. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

    The quality of this hotel is very poor. The value for money as well (the worse I have ever seen indeed). 1 you re asked to pay for the whole stay at arrival 2 I was in room where the smell of cooking was very strong each evening as the hotel staff was preparing his dinner near the reception. 3 the room was not heated enough. Impossible to stay in pyjamas 4 […] worst of all, the heating pipes were making a strong noise, preventing a good night sleep. This hotel definitely needs to be renovated. Read more

    Liten undanskymd ingång och reception vid diskbänken - hur ska detta bli? Men ett stort och fräscht rum och mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal gjorde att vi fick en bra upplevelse. Läget är också riktigt bra att utgå ifrån för upptäcktsfärder i Amsterdam. Frukosten något tunn men ok.
