Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.

This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Good service and a decent area, very convinent location with a market of all food and goods! 2 mins walk from metro! Just a little far from center paris! Good service and polite reception!

"A nice choice"
Nice surrounding, close to Metro station, clean and modern room, and nice service. would be happy to come again in future. The only problem is that my room is just by the lift, and one can hear the noise of the lift which is a little unpleasant. would be good if you sleep late and get up early.

Although one of the less expensive hotels in the area, the hotel Maxim was more than sufficient for our stay in Paris. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower, although small, worked fine. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were very helpful and there is a place to leave your cases after check out. The location is great […] and is only a few metres away from the Metro. "Hotel Maxim - great location"
A good hotel, with friendly staff. It has tiny rooms, but I would not want to stay in a big room in Paris,... its part of the experience. The room is very functional though, as I was working till 4am and did not miss anything (good table and chair, electric plugs where needed and free wifi) Great location and still peaceful. Recommended.
"entirely proper and correct"
I arrived late and left early for an overnight between two meetings, so I can't say I drank in the ambience, or took full advantage. The room was small, quiet, perfectly clean, fine. A hotel room. Everything worked. In the morning the breakfast was fine, without being exceptional. I guess you could do better with your nine euros if you had the time […] to look around for a boulangerie, and a café with decent coffee, but it was OK. Read more

Basic but good. Perfect for people with a tight agenda who mainly need a pace to sleep.Excellent location.

Fint lille hotel med rigtig god beliggenhed i et hyggeligt kvarter og tæt på metroen. Værelset var lille, men rent og fint og med en lille altan. Kan absolut anbefales.

Chambre tout à fait correcte (literie, équipement,.. très bons). Salle de bain minuscule (en particulier la douche où le rideau de douche vous colle à la peau si vous ne voulez pas vous cogner à la robineterie). Autres points à améliorer : Lumières un peu faibles + chambre à côté de l'acenseur ayant pour inconvénient de se faire déranger par certains […] touristes très bruyants lorsqu'ils rentrent à 23h ou plus tard. Bra överlag och trevlig personal. Väldigt bra läge komoenserar för små rum. Dock: Badrummet hade problem med 1) otrevlig lukt och 2) att vatten fr duschen rann in i sovrummet.

Mycket bra läge med Metro-station någon minut ifrån och 3 minuters promenad till Rue Moffetard - mysig medeltida marknadsgata med pubar och restauranger från all världens hörn. Bra pizzeria 10m ifrån. Nära till Jardin de Plantes. Mycket tyst rum. Rummets storlek är inga problem om man reser med kabinväskor. Kul designer attiraljer. Trevlig engelsk talande […] personal. Hiss. Mina fördomar om Parisiska hotell som baserades på andra omdömen (kanske främst amerikanska...) kom rejält på skam. Read more
