The Convent Hotel is located on one of the main streets in Amsterdam and within easy walking distance to the Centraal Train station and Dam Square-so public transportation is a snap. The hotel is well kept and the staff is very friently. The one complaint about the staff is that they do not seem very knowledgeable about typical tourist activities in Amsterdam and we didn't find a concierge staff member to help with some of our questions. Our booking through hotels.com did not include the breakfast, which looked wonderful and was expensive, so we found a lovely little care within a block or two from the hotel for our breakfasts. Lots of tours seem to use the hotel, so the staff is very comfortable speaking in English with everyone.The entrance to the hotel faces the very busy street, but the rooms are all in the back of the hotel and are very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. I would suggest trying to get the breakfast included in the hotel price.

The hotel was clean, nice, the staff friendly and helpful, especially the Concierge. The location was great, within walking distance of many restaurants, and things to see in Amsterdam.

excellent location to the airport, service was excellent. Great to have a real "walk in" shower!
Location.
Situated in Amsterdam, Minotel Zandbergen is close to Vondelpark, Concertgebouw, and Stedelijk Museum. Also nearby are Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum.

"An excellent little hotel."
Really cosy and pleasant hotel. We had no restrictions. Congratulations to the manager and to all staff: really nice people. Its a hotel to recomend!

"Ystävällinen pienhotelli 2-ratikan varrella"
Nopea internet, ystävällinen palvelu, pienet mutta siistit huoneet. Hyvä, mutta rauhallinen sijainti. 2-ratikka ajaa museoalueen, Leizeplein-yöelämäalueen, Flower marketin kautta rautatieasemalle. Hotellilta siis pääsee yhdellä kulkuneuvolla helposti näkemään kulttuuria, historiaa, viihdettä, shoppailut. Hinta-laatu on kohdillaan. Suosittelen.
"Minotel Zandbergen"
Hôtel bien situé dans quartier très calme. Nous avons eu deux chambres qui étaient plus des studios (cuisine, salon, chambre) dans la maison attenante à l'hôtel. Très agréable. Parking dans le quartier extrêmement cher 4€/h de 9h à 24h. Très bon petit déjeuner et personnel très accueillant et souriant. Une adresse à retenir.

"ホテル ツァンドベルゲン 立地もスタッフもとても良かったです。"
２月４日から６泊しました。 街中より少し離れていて静かな場所でした。ホテル前にトラム２番（アムステルダム中央駅迄２０分位）が走っていて何処に行くのも便利でした。ゴッホ美術館、アムステルダム博物館（フェルメール・レンブラントなどの絵画）には、トラムで３，４駅で行かれました。 近くにはパン屋さん、レストラン、アルバートハインツ（スーパー）があり、娘と２人旅でしたので、夕食を遠くまで行かないで済みました。 ホテルのスタッフの方々はとてもフレンドリーで、細やかな気配りをして頂き気持ち良く過ごすことができました。 ６日目パリに移動の朝、朝食は毎日７時半からなのに、前日７時半にチェックアウトすると伝えると”では、朝食を７時に用意しておきます”と言ってくださいました。うれしかったです。 いつか又、アムステ […] ルダムに行く時は、このホテルを選びます。 Read more
