Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Just what we expected. everything was good except the wash basin drain was full of hair and drained poorly. surprised that the maid service didn't report it
Location.
Situated in London, LINCOLN HOUSE HOTEL is connected to a shopping center and close to Wallace Collection, Marble Arch, and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Also nearby are Royal Academy of Music and Buckingham Palace.

"A broomcloset next to the kitchen.."
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We booked online for a low price, thinking it was a great deal. There was no mention of any differentiation in rooms based on price, and there were pictures of normal sized rooms on the webpage. When we got there, they put us in a room so tiny it must have previously been a broomcloset. It somehow fit everything […] you need in a room - bed, closet, tv, bathroom, etc, but we could barely move. Also, it was RIGHT next to the kitchen. Starting in the very early morning all we could hear was dishes clattering, pans clanking, glasses clinking, people yelling and talking, etc. SO LOUD. No chance of sleeping, which sucked after a night of bar hopping! Also the front desk was right down the hall, and every time someone came through the front door of the hotel, it made a doorbell sound at the front desk, which was super loud in our room. Most annoying room/hotel ever!!! Also, the cleaning staff was very rude to us, knocking on the door repetitively and then taking a huffy attitude when we said to please come back later. It's not like she could fit in the room with the two of us in there already! Then after all that she didn't even leave us fresh towels. No tip for you!! The room was at least clean and conveniently located, so we just dealt with it. They should have told us beforehand that it was a tiny little cupboard of a room next to the kitchen and offered us alternatives, but they did not. Don't recommend this place!! Read more

"Very clean, pleasant staff, perfect for short stay"
Good hotel close to Paddington station, room was very clean, well presented. Staff pleasant and overall atmosphere of hotel was quiet. Would recommend it for an overnight stay -eg for business

Bathroom was a caravan-style plastic pod in the corner of the bedroom. Staff were surly, and the room was not remotely clean, in fact it was hard to sleep in the powerful smell of stale urine! Felt like a colossal chump for paying so much money for such a poor room. Still, it's well placed and maybe some of the other rooms are OK?

Close to the US Embassy in London, so I chose it for the convenience of location. However, I requested a non-smoking room, but it was almost definitely a smoking room with a No Smoking sign that was just put up for show. I'm sure that would have been removed after I left. As a non-smoker, to me it was a disgusting smell and I would not stay there again […] for this reason. Horrible. Read more

"Lincoln House - central and functional"
Lincoln House is well position on Gloucester Place as a central base for London sightseeing. But it's location is a downside if you want to relax as it's a busy noisy road. Rooms are clean but small and again only really functional for using as a stop-off base to see London. Rooms were also quite stuffy and no chance of opening the window unless you […] ant to enjoy the benefits of car exhausts. Det er ikke det fjongeste hotellet jeg har bodd på i mitt liv, men det var absolutt koselig, og standarden var definitivt mer enn grei nok - og til den prisen, med DEN beliggenheten, så er det uslåelig. Hyggelige mennesker, god frokost, kaffe/te o.l. på rommet; og en kjempegod pub (the Three Tuns) et par hundre meter nedi gaten!! Oxford Street (Marble […] Arch enden) var fem minutters gange gjennom et fint nabolag. Hvis du er veldig opptatt av at hotellet skal være sterilt og minimalistisk så er kanskje ikke dette plassen for deg, men er du som meg og bruker hotellrommet kun til soving så er det bare å slå til. :) Read more

LINCOLN HOUSE HOTEL i London, Nær Marbel Arch og Oxford Street. Sentralt og helt greit hotell. Rent og hyggelig rom. Hyggelig betjening. God froskost til en billig penge. Kjempe god trerettersmiddag til en uslåelig billig pris.

Et kjempekoselig hotell et par minutters gange fra Oxford Street (Marble Arch-enden)! Litt gammelt, med små bad, men mer enn bra nok standard for oss tre venninner på handletur. For prisen tror jeg ikke du finner noe bedre med den beliggenheten! Et par små minus - fjerde etasje var veldig mange trapper opp uten heis, og det var litt lytt...men uansett […] var vi fornøyde, og kommer nok til å sjekke dette hotellet først neste gang jeg skal til London. Personalet var hjelpsomme og hyggelige, frokosten god, rommene godt utstyrt med småting som vannkoker, minibar og hårføner...det som trakk mest opp var likevel beliggenheten, den var uslåelig. "Bra värde för pengarna"
Hotellet ligger nära fantastiska trendiga herrbutiken Trunk som ägs av svenskar. Hotellet var helt ok för vad man betalar. Stort rum, lite lyhört, små badrum, men rent och rymligt. Prisvärt men inte mer. Frukosten fick man betala för men även den var prisvärd.

Vi var 4 personer, varav 2 tonårsbarn, rummet var som vi visste litet, 4 sängar som var sköna och inget mer fick plats. Liten dusch som vi ocskå visste om enl mailkontakt med receptionen. Dock inget problem alls och med det ypperliga läget sparade vi många slantar på tunnelbana som minst skulle kostat 250 kr om dagen för vår familj. Trevliga kvarter, […] bra service och bra frukost, missa inte en trevlig kvarterspub, Tre Tunnor på en sidogata på väg till hotellet. Läget är toppen ! Vi kommer gärna tillbaka ! Read more

"Bad for business"
Stayed in the hotel because it was close to some business. No elevator means a lot of steps up to the 4th floor. All rooms have really small shovers. Also they had a 3% charge on credit cards which means a lot more expensive than anticipated

Dette er et lite, hyggelig hotell som jeg kan anbefale. Fott service, god mat og hyggelig betjening. Ligger i nærheten av oxford street. Reiser gjerne tilbake dit.

"Nice hotel, but bad breakfast service"
I enjoyed everything with this hotel except the breakfast service in the morning. It took sooooooo long to get the food. People left their tables because it took so much time. So if you're planning to eat breakfast there you should call and order before leaving your room! Otherwise, comfortable rooms and nice location at a good price!

Jag tycker att det var ett väldigt bra hotell, bra pris och ett bra läge, nära till shopping. Provade ej frukosten så den kan jag inte uttala mig om. Lite jobbigt var det med 3 trappor att gå utan tillgång till hiss, men i det stora anser jag att det var ett väldigt bra hotell.

Läget perfekt. Promenadavstånd till Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar, Oxford Street, Hyde Park m fl. Trånga rum, extremt liten duschhörna och en sliten, smutsig heltäckningsmatta drar ner helhetsintrycket. Bra med vattenkokare och te/kaffe på rummet.

Etter 3 besøk i London er dette det beste hotellet i denne prisklassen jeg har overnattet på. Det er rent og pent, billig og grei frokost, super beligenhet men 5 minutter til oxford street og 5 minutter til madame tussauds. Vi var to voksne og et barn, og hadde familierom og det var god plass til alle sammen. Vær oppmarksom på at om du bestiller taxi […] fra hotellets resepsjon kommer det pirattaxi og prisen blir som regel dobbelt av black cabs. Gå heller til hotellet lenger ned i gaten, der står det mange taxier og venter. Jeg kommer til helt klart tilbake til dette hotellet. Read more
