The hotel was conveniently located near the airport. It was not clear though how to get there since no information was provided at the time of reservation, and people at the airport information center sent us in the wrong direction. And yet there is an excellent complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. The area where the hotel is located has been abandoned since the government plans to expand the airport facilities; the houses are boarded up. It is a sad place, but it was a convenient stay for one night before the flight.

This hotel was just two short blocks from the Central Train station. We also thought the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend the hotel. The room was very spacious with living area and bedroom. Internet is available but keep in mind they charge for the access by the hour.

The location is in between the Centrale train station and the city center (the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele). The hotel is a 2-min walk from the Metro station. I saw many business people staying in this hotel. The room isn't big, but other than that everything is good. It's comfortable and clean, hotel staff is helpful, and breakfast has sufficient variety.

Very convenient if flying through Malpensa - shuttle service on-demand, and food available throughout the night.

Location.
Situated in Como, Quarcino is on a lake and close to Funicular, Cathedral of Como, and Volta Temple. Also nearby are Villa Olmo and Piazza Cavour.

"Good place for an overnight stay"
The quarcino was more than we were expecting for the low price and location. The room had been completely renovated and had a big balcony with a view of the duomo. The couple who were clearly the owners weren't exactly the friendliest, but they did open our bottle of wine for us when we asked to borrow a bottle opener. overall we thought it was perfect […] for a short stay, my recommendation would be to ask for a room where the sound of the church bell (practically on top of the hotel) is not as loud. "wunderbar für ein paar Tage"
Das Personal und die Besitzer des Hotels sind sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und grosszügig. Das Bad war ganz neu. Die Lage ist perfekt, zehn Minuten von Comos Zentrum. Einziger Nachteil, dass die Wände nicht sehr dick sind und man alles rund herum genau mitbekommt. Der Glockenturm gleich nebenan ist dabei weniger das Problem. "Ideal für Kurzaufenthalt"
Erfüllt die Ansprüche an ein 2 Sterne Hotel sehr gut. Gut anzufahren, Parkmöglichkeit bestens und gratis. Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des Seeufers und des Stadtzentrums. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig.

Mit guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Grosszügiges Zimmer und Bad. Bescheidenes Morgenbuffet. Autoparkplatz von Strasse abgewandt. Hotel steht neben Glockenturm! Interessanterweise das kurze Geläute am Morgen um ca. 08:00 Uhr als nicht stöhrend empfunden. "agréable séjour"
avec 3 enfants suite tres pratique propreté irréprochable, tout à proximité à pied, la voiture est restée au parking, petit déjeuner tres correct, tres bon rapport qualité prix, paysages fantastiques!

"Das Hotel Quarcino ..."
... ist nur ein 2 Sterne Hotel, jedoch hat uns unser Zimmer gut gefallen und es war alles vorhanden was mann braucht. Pluspunkte sind sicher auch die gebührenfreien Parkmöglichkeiten und die Lage. (5 Gehminuten zum Zentrum) Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank
