Airone Hotel - Venice

The only good things about the Airone are #1: its cheap, #2: its across the grand canal from the Ferrovia vapporetta stop and the Ferrovia trans station. If cou can spend an extra couple of Euros daily it might be worth to do so and go to a better hotel with a better location. Bathroom was microscopic and very poorly sanitized, but I guess this is true […] of most Italian hotels specially the ones in Venice but this one has a particularly deceiving combination of (listen to this) a "toilet and shower" together!!, as you shower the toilet gets wet, imagine this as part of your dreamed Italian vacation. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The bath was supposed to be shared but it did not tell you it was shared by everyone who was staying there. The shower was so nasty you had to wear your flp flops to feel safe because of the meldew in it. The carpets were so nasty I kept my shoes on if I was up walking in the room. Very close to the train station. For what you pay for, it was a good clean room. The shared bathrooms were also clean. The staff was friendly and we had no issues getting checking in or out of the hotel.

No Breakfast. No hotwater in the showers. Impolite staff. It might be better to list what is good about the hotel. The location is good. Everything else is not only bad, actually horrible and disgusting.

The hotel was probably more of a hostel, but it didn't feel busy. I reserved a room with private bathroom and it was as I expected. This is not the kind of hotel you lounge about but perfectly fine for a single overnight in a tourist city, Venice. Charging 3 Euros per hour for WiFi access is obscene and i have never been charged so steeply in any hotel, […] in fact its generally free most other places or just a single Euro per day. Read more

A basic hotel with limited facilities but perfect for a short stay in Venice. Well situated near the train and bus station so you don't have to drag your bags across Venice to your hotel. Lots of restaurants and things to do near by. after reading the reviews about this hotel i didn't expect anything at all but I have to say I was positively surprised. The hotel was all about location. Directly opposite the train station it was easy to get to (make sure you go left from the station as there is only one bridge to contend with, if you go right there are about four). There was no service and the beds were the worst to sleep on. They were two single camp beds of the wire spring base variety pushed together to make a double bed. Could not sleep on them. This is not a three star hotel. It is an overpriced backpackers offering. Would not recommend to anyone.

Очень не понравился отель. Во-первых, нет собственной стойки регистрации. Еле нашли способ попасть в данный отель. Двери закрыты в отель, на двери написано куда идти, но информация некорректная. Оказалось, что ключи от номера можно получить в соседнем отеле. Номер, за 3 ночи нашего присутствия, ни разу не убирался! Кроме того. Quite cheap for the services, close to the piazza Roma (nice location to take the vaporetto to everywhere, including the beautiful isle of Murano). A good hotel

O Staff foi sempre simpático, não houve problemas no checkin ou checkout. A localização é mais do que excelente, sobretudo porque temos que fazer apenas uma ponte com as malas (para quem entra em Veneza por comboio) o que é muuuuito importante para quem viaja com malas e não conhece Veneza. A limpeza era perfeitamente aceitável, o Hotel e os quartos […] são bastante feios (super-subjectivo, claro) e nota-se que era um palácio com muitas áreas divididas artificialmente com bombos. O quarto era grande a a cama também. O Ar condicionado funciona, o duche também, a água quente idem, mas tudo é bastante antigo e velho. Resumindo, achei que só se justifica o preço porque é Veneza, e o parque habitacional muito antigo. É tudo tão caro naquela cidade, que a localização, limpeza básica e funcionalidades deste hotel penso que compensam. Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla Grand Canalin varrella. Muuten itse hotelii osoittautui taloksi jossa ei ollut omaa vastaanottoa vaan sen hoiti toinen hotelli. Huone oli muuten mukava mutta siitä puuttui kylpyhuone ja WC. Näkymä Grand Canalille oli hieno. Hinta/laatu suhde mielestäni kuitenkin korkeintaan kohtuullinen.

Meget høflig og omsorgfuld betjening - ligger centralt ud til Kanal Grande og meget tæt på Venedigs centrale trafikforbindelser. Et lidt ældre hotel med atmosfære og perfekt placering i forhold til byens øvrige spisesteder og seværdigheder. Airone er prisbilligt og yder en upåklagelig service.

Hotellet ligger sentralt plassert. Togstasjonen er rett på andre siden av kanalen. Enkel standard, men rent og ryddig. Kan absolutt anbefales dersom man er ute etter rimelig overnatting i Venezia.
