Very close to all things to see and to train station too!! The staff is polite and efficient! We had a nice room with good A/C and beautiful bathroom (even a little view of the Duomo! Try the "pocket lunch" for four euros! Absolutely would go back again!

We reserved and prepaid for our room many months in advance. When we arrived at the hotel at about 4:00 pm we were told that they only had one room left. Our room was on the first floor, faced into a street alley and had bars on the windows. The windows didn't open and the air conditioning was poor at its best. They had just given a better room on the […] 2nd floor to someone else before us. We had to argue with the desk staff to get another room after someone checked out the next day. The staff was not receptive to this, though they finally accomodated us. The 2nd room was clean and the air conditioning worked fine. Only one front desk person we encountered seemed knowledgeable about local restaurants and sites. It appeared that other staff were not interested in assisting guests with these types of amenities. This was quite different than our experience at the other hotels where we stayed. In general, the hotel was clean and its breakfast was typical of other Italian hotels. The location is very good for walking everywhere. The price was reasonable for this type of room & its location, but fell short on friendliness and assistance. If you choose this hotel there is this trade off. Read more

This hotel was excellent as far as having what you need in a european hotel to be comfortable (it was very clean!) and location, location, location! Our room was on the back side of the hotel and had a view of the Medici Chapel. The hotel is located about half a block from the Duomo and about a ten minute walk from the train station in Florence. The […] breakfast was good and there are plenty of nearby by sandwhich shops and restaurants for dinners. Florence is an awesome walking city and this hotel provided the best location to get to everything quickly. Perfect location, right in the center of old town and all the sights, near the train station. Personnel speak decent English and are friendly. They tell you a garage to park at that's much cheaper than most surrounding areas and the garage is full service. Great bathroom, yes the shower is small but that's just Europe. And the bed is decent, but a little […] hard if you are used to really soft American beds. In Europe, a full bed is going to be two twins pushed together, that's normal - but they put this thing between them so you barely even notice. And it's also normal in Europe that the climate control doesn't operate while you aren't in the room, so it's hot when you first enter, but it cools down quickly enough. Read more

The hotel is fine, staff are reasonably pleasant, location is good. Breakfast is ok. Based on this I'd probably give it 4/5. I pre-paid and the price quoted was "including taxes and fees". However, upon check-out I was asked to pay an additional €16 city tax. There was some mention in the small print of €3 per person per night, but even with that it […] should only have been €12. The location of the hotel made it extremely easy for us to visit any of the main attractions in the city. The hotel staff were polite and helpful when we needed their assistance to contact local travel agencies. The room was large, clean and of the right temperature. You'd expect lots of walking in Florence and during our stay in Aug it was like 37C hot! But it's always convenient to head back to this hotel for a short break as it's close to the most busy area (near the Duomo - Catterrale di Santa Maria). The reception desk is on 3rd floor..... quite a challenge as the elevator was under maintenance, heard it would […] be back to normal service in Sep/Oct this year? Staff are friendly and helpful, but the wifi connection was bad, the only downside for me. The common area setting is like a college dorm quite warm, and there's one PC station you can use to go online as the wifi was so unstable! The front desk staff recommended a restaurant just around the corner that serves great Firenze Steak!! ドォーモまで徒歩2分、ウフィツィ美術館まで6分、ベッキオ橋まで10分と、中心地にほど近く買い物等で荷物が増えたら置きに帰ることも可能な良い立地でした。ホテルの設備や内装は四つ星とは言えない簡素なものでしたが、清潔感があり、可愛らしい印象でした。朝ごはんは品数が非常に少なく美味しくなかったです。

まずSMN駅から近くわかりやすい事。そして、メディチ家礼拝堂やドォーモもすぐそばで大変便利で気に入りました。ロビーもお部屋も改装済みで大変きれいでした。朝食も勝手気ままで過剰サービスではなく気楽でよかったです。今度フィレンツェを訪れる時も利用したいです。

Nous avons passez un tres bon sejour a Hotel Centrale. Le staff est tres accueillant. Le lit manque un peu en comfort mais le staff fait tout pour etre a l'ecoute du client. L'hotel est tres bien placé tres proche du Duomo. Le rapport qualite/prix est excellent. On recommande cet hotel.

Hotel centrale ligger centralt placeret i Firenze. Personalet er høflige, der var pænt og rent og morgenmadsbuffeten er af normal Italliensk standard. - Vi havde bestilt 4 værelser. MEN 3 Værelser skulle have været DELUX dobbelt værelser og det sidste et dobbelt værelse med enkelt opredning . Vi endte op med et værelse med en rigtig dobbelt seng. De […] øvrige værelser havde sammensatte enkeltsenge af dårlig kvalitet. På 3 af værelserne virkede varmeanlægget ikke. I to af værelserne var temp over 25 C og på det sidste under 21C. Afløbet i det ene badeværelse virkede dårligt og toilettet i et andet sad løst. Read more
