"Quite clean, but not too friendly nor quiet"
Hotel itself is ok (2 starts so you don’t expect too much), but stuff is not friendly even bit rude... Maybe if you speak Italian you get better service. Room was tiny, but clean enough. Problem is the door, which is there but does not isolate sounds at all. Every single person going by with luggage feels like a train if you try to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Esta bien situado cerca de Termini. Limpieza diaria y desayuno en la terraza. Lo malo, se oye a todo el que pasa por el pasillo.Genuine Expedia guest review

This hotel is a good find if you want basic room in an excellent location close to Termini station. The breakfast is served on rooftop terrace and is good. The pastries that are excellent. It is close to many restaurants in area and metro line
"Very clean small hotel in good location"

Didn’t choose this hotel myself and was a little sceptical how it how be. It turned out to be fine. Excellent location and easy to find from Termini Station. The street has three restaurants very close by and I can thoroughly recommend the Pizza place, Pizzeria del Secolo , at the end/corner of the block for the quality of pizza and friendly service. The hotel is only small but the rooms are decent enough in size. Both the rooms and hotel in general are very clean. Decent security levels as you need an access card to get into the room corridors. Bathroom very good , decent shower etc. The staff were friendly too , not fantastic English but everything was fine.. Breakfast is okay if a little basic with not a massive choice you can get plenty of the bread rolls and decent selection of pastries. Nice to be able to get some nice fresh air on the roof top terrace at the same time too. Only downsides I would say would be having to leave the (big) room key with reception which limited the speed of comings and goings and the reasonably limited breakfast offerings. If you’re looking for a clean adequate room not too pricey in an area close to main station with eateries on your doorstep then this is fine. Also an easy walk to the student area San Lorenzo with plenty of cool bars and places to eat.
"Very good, but a pity of the perished yoghurt..."

We stayed 7 nights in Corallo hotel in Rome. Till the last moment, I was very satisfied about the hotel: excellent location (near to Termini and Castro Pretorio metro and ok neighbourhood), very clean, nice staff and an good breakfast for Rome. Unfortunately, during the 6th breakfast, my boyfriend discovered the yoghurt he was eating was bad (green mold in the corner). I was already surprised the yoghurt was not in a fridge, but just standing with the other food on a table. The date on the pot had not been passed yet, it was just because they did not store the yoghurt correctly. Except for that we had a good experience. Nice staff, nice rooms and super location. Have to mention though that the staff does not speak all that much English, so it can be helpful if you speak Italian or Spanish. Breakfast consists of different fruit marmelades, chocolate spread, cheese, pâté (meat spread), honey, butter, small white breads, toasts (packed, not fresh), various sweet pastries and yoghurt (but as mentioned before I would not recommend eating the last one). The staff made fresh coffee or tea every morning and there was also fruit juice and water. Breakfast was served on the roof of the hotel (both inside and outside possible), nice location, but last part only reachable by steps. Elevator only goes till 6th floor, breakfast was on 7th floor.
"Value for money in capital city, in good location for sights."

Although a little basic, our room was very clean, a good size (double bed, settee, desk/chair), very quiet (looked out over an inner quad, but who cares when we're out sightseeing all day?), comfy bed, nice bathroom (towels changed every day), and appeared recently redecorated (no cracks or marks on the paintwork). The concierge took us up to the room, showed how everything worked, was very friendly & helpful. A/C worked very well. Only small drawback - concierges changed a few times, and one didn't speak any English. Excellent location, only 5-10 minutes easy walk to Termini station, and lots of restaurants/trattorias within a stone's throw of hotel. Breakfast not too imaginative, but I imagine you could eat as much as you wanted - bread rolls, pastries, yoghurts, butter/jam, cheese slices, and as much coffee as you wished - all taken on the top floor terrace. What more could you expect in a 2* hotel?
"Clean at a good location"

This is a basic hotel, with basic facilities. The staff at the reception was kind and efficient. The room was nice and clean. However, there was noise from the corridor outside our room from people arriving late at night: simply opening the floor door or walking in the corridor with a suitcase was really noisy. Breakfast was very simple but OK; however, the fact that it was served from 7.30 am (!) meant that we missed it on the day of our departure...

We found this hotel clean, comfortable and conveniently situated. Our rooms looked onto a dark inner well which was a little claustrophobic during the day, but as we were mostly there at night it didn't matter. Breakfast was basic but adequate - very pleasant as served on the roof. Very good value overall.
"Won't recommend this hotel"

The uncle manning the reception is very slow when we checked in. It's almost mnidnight and we were very tired. I know that he's already old but he's really slow. The lift is very small and he even went up with us to our room to show us how to open the door, to turn on the aircon as if it's our first to stay in a hotel (if you can call that a hotel). The aircon is not working properly so we just opened the window for us to be able to sleep at night. Our room is facing the street so it's a bit noisy since there's a bar downstairs. The bathroom has a certain smell like it's not clean although it was clean. The breakfast is not much. Just few bread, butter, jam... Not much choices. In fairness there are some good things about this hotel, fast wifi connection and good location. Very close to train station. Wouldn't recommend this hotel though.
"Clean & safe hotel near train station - nothing too fancy."
07/07/13 Scott H Des Moines, Iowa
We liked Hotel Corallo because of its location near the train station (Termini) and metro. It was a great place to stay that was clean, safe, and provided a private room with ensuite bathroom. The staff was very friendly and most spoke good English. They were helpful with things like directions, printing boarding passes, and giving advice. The continental breakfast was nice (food was typical but the rooftop terrace made it taste even better). We did feel like we overpaid a little - not because of service, cleanliness, or location - but because of how dated everything was in the hotel. I would say 60 - 70 Euros/night for two people would be about what its worth. As is everything when traveling around Europe, location is everything and this hotel had it. The only somewhat negative thing was the headboard behind the bed... you have to be careful not to hit your head on the shelf that sticks out when you lay down (you can imagine why we remember this...).
"Good choice for hotel in Rome"

The hotel is situated near Termini station and Metro B line station. The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean with big comfortable bathroom. The breakfast was delicious served on the roof of the building.

The hotel is situated close to the main train station (Termini). It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. There is nothing fancy about this place but it's quiet and clean and easy to get to. The breakfast pleasant on the roof terrace but every day the same to eat. Our room had a pretty balcony and it was quiet at night.
