      It was a beautiful stay for our honeymoon. Lago di Garda is a must if you are on a romantic geataway in Italy! The hotel has a great view, its inexpensive, great staff and wonderful restaurant! I will return for more...

      Affi is close to the local wineries, we also had an easy trip down to Guarda and into Verona. Very nice people and very well appointed rooms. Beds are a bit hard - like most Italian hotels we've stayed in but the bathroom was wonderful and large. The breakfast is a nice spread. I'd stay here again for sure!!

      Well, we LOVED the owner and his family was lovely. His wine is GREAT and the dinners in his on site restaurant were both affordable and delicious. The house itself is a large old rambling house turned into hotel. The rooms are decorated in old pictures, cross stitch and you feel like you've gone to visit your grandmother in the country. All of that I loved. The problem is there is little to keep you from hearing the people in the other rooms and our neighbors had screaming babies. He should really consider putting children in another section of the house to protect those of us who don't have little ones from the noise. Oh, and he owns a few roosters. All of this can be solved by bringing along your ear plugs. I'd really emphasize that the place is amazing and these drawbacks don't offset the unique stay we had there. Just go prepared and enjoy!

    The hotel is in good condition, fairly new looking, and clean. We paid extra for a superior room for our 4 night stay, which had a view (over the bus station) of the hills. Our room was far too hot however, and no matter how long we left the Air Conditioning turned on at 18degrees, it never got below 25. I complained about this on the second day, where […] the staff at reception reset a computer in the reception area, and said it should fix the problem. It didn't. I complained 5 more times over the next 2 days, each time asking for a fan to be brought to our room- and each time I was told it would be done- nothing happened- no fan. Eventually one of the receptionists admitted the hotel didn't actually have any fans (no mention of this on the previous 3 days, no apology, and no attempt to offer any alternatives). They also said the master Air Conditioning temperature was set by reception, and the units in the rooms could only vary that temperature by a small amount. They refused to accept that our room was too hot, and refused to change the master temperature (presumably as lower temperatures cost more to achieve). Even when i pointed out that it was colder in the hallway outside our room than inside our bedroom, nothing was done. In short, the building was nice, and the staff were generally attentive, but unable, unwilling, or uncaring enough to do anything about what should have been a minor problem.     I was very happy with my stay. The rooms and hotel were kept excellently as were the pool and gardens. The hotel is a slight bit away from the main town of Riva (5- 10 min walk) but isn't too much of a bother. .

Also only 5 mins from the central bus station so ideal for tours etc. The only down side is that the breakfast is a bit limiting each morning & when you want to chill in your room before heading out you are […] restricted to only 4 English speaking channels, which are all news - so on a loop and mind numing.     Valitsimme huoneen terassilla päärakennuksesta viideksi päiväksi ja huone oli mitä mukavin. Ja hotellin ympäristö hienoine takapihoineen on todella upea. Aamiaisella jäi kaipaamaan vihanneksia, mutta kuten Italian tapaan kuuluu, ne ovat harvinaista herkkua. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä hotellia.

Les Moins : en chambre, aucune déco murale, très impersonnel. La vue sur le lac annoncée commence en premier par une vue sur gare routière de bus. L'hotel n'est pas bien indiqué et un peu loin du bord de lac. […] Son garage en sous-sol est un peu loin de l'accès aux chambres (se fait à pied et pas toujours abrité, gênant en cas de pluie). La piscine intérieure n'est pas accessible aux enfants de moins de 16 ans même accompagnés ! Parlent très peu le français. Rapport qualité prix moyen. Read more

    Das Hotel befindet sich in ca. 15-20 Minuten Gehreichweite vom Ufer. Das Personal spricht einigermaßen Englisch (nicht wirklich gut). Das kostenlose WLAN ist fast unbenutzbar, da die Konfiguration fehlerhaft ist (Signalstärke ist ausreichend, aber oft gibt es keine IP oder keine funktionsfähigen DNS-Server). Frühstück ist zweckmäßig, der Kaffee leider […] nicht besonders gut. Bier an der Bar kostet 6 Euro. Read more

    Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, auch mit guten Restaurantempfehlungen im Ort. Leider gab es kein richtiges Doppelbett, nur zwei Einzelbetten. Das könnte man darauf zurückführen, dass "camera doppia" im Italienischen immer zwei Betten beschreibt, während ein Doppelbett nach deutschen Verständnis auf italienisch "matrimoniale" heißen […] würde...wenn man sich die Zimmerbeschreibung genau ansieht, ist es also völlig korrekt beschreiben. Leider gab es auf dem etwas kleinen Balkon keinen Tisch. Die Garten- und Poolanlage waren sehr schön und weitläufig.     The position is not the best, but everything else is. Eventhough the Hotel is near the road its build in way that you can`t hear the noise from the cars. The garden is a peaceful oasis, the service is excellent and the breakfast is fantastic. An extra compliment goes to the waiters!!!
