We are very satisfy with this hotel. It is located in 5 minutes walking distance from Florence central station. Excellent restaurant next door with 10% for hotel guests. We stayed in one of the unit with kitchen. There are supermarkets nearby. Breakfast is buffet style with many choices. Hotel staff is very helpful. They even helped us to print out train tickets when we purchased on line. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we went to Florence again.

The staff here were fabulous, even calling our hotel in Rome before we left them to ask a question for us. The room for two adults, a 6'+ 15 yr old and a 16 yr old was more then big enough and bright and airy. The bell tower outside the window was beautiful. Staying here you are close to the Duomo and convenient to the train station, which is fabulous when you are training between cities in Rome. We would most definitely stay here again!

First the good: Hotel Eden is fairly close to the train station, so if you are arriving or leaving by train & have bags it is easy to find & get to. OK, that's all there is good to say about it. The rooms are extremely basic, the hotel is drab, the breakfast is minimal (yes, I know it is Italy & breakfasts are often limited, but this was the most basic […] of all the Italian hotel breakfasts in a recent 3 week trip), the staff vary from pleasant-without-being-particularly-helpful to totally disinterested. Is it terrible? No. But there are plenty of much better, & sometimes cheaper, options in Florence. Read more
