      Siena isn't that big, so any hotel near the old city is really fine in terms of location. We just did a quick one-day sidetrip from Florence, so the convenience of this hotel to the main bus terminal was great. Room was more than adequate.

      What a wonderful location close to La Porta Romana! We used the hotel parking for 10€ per night, and walked into town. The evening concierge was extremely helpful with getting us situated, AND thoughtful. We chose to bring back dinner to eat in our rooms, so he set us up in the breakfast room instead. It was like having a great little evening to ourselves in a wonderfully decorated restaurant. We had a loft room, so our two kids LOVED it. We have been through Siena many times, but we always stay near Florence. Not anymore!!! If you have kids, it would be alright to stay here, as the rooms were quiet and the entire staff was on point.

      We traveled to Italy during the winter months, and while this place was a cute little B&B, the heat had not been turned on prior to our arrival and it did really not adequately warm up overnight. The breakfast the next morning was lovely, the views were beautiful. I could see this being a really great place to stay as long as it is during warm weather. Communication is also very difficult if you do not speak Italian.

    I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone: walls were paper thin, I could hear my neighbours sneeze- the breakfast was organized like feeding woolves, they left food in the breakfast room and didn't refill... When you arrived a little late you could forget breakfast. The mother of the family running the hotel were special treating a couple of guests […] with a cute child, bringning them extra good coffee. It was far away from Siena center, in the suburb. It was a joke. Cheap though, but I've been to good cheap hotels in Italy before, and good ones too. Read more
