Central location
Location was central to many sights and the Metro, but on a very noisy, busy thoroughfare. Hotel is on 4th floor, up a slow, funky old cage-like elevator. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and probably all we needed, but it was pretty small and bathroom was absolutely tiny. Breakfast pastries were good, but cereal was blah.

Quaint and Traditional
We have stayed here several times before. We find it quaint and traditionally Italian. We find it to be conveniently located to Termini and walking distance to many other attractions. The rooms are comfortably large and the breakfast is decent. Unfortunately the hotel lost phone and Internet service for several hours, but the attendants were very helpful when we had to make a couple of local calls. They were very nice to deal with and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Nice, clean hotel in great loction
Hotel Martini was a very nice and clean hotel located near the Termini train station (but not TOO close to the train station). It is in a downtown setting with lots of high rise buildings mixed in with old churches and fountains. If you're a tourist, the 64 & 40 buses (to Vatican) pass right in front of the hotel. Termini is an easy 5 min walk away, as are two different hop-on-hop-off style tourist bus stops. The hotel is precious--complete with antique elevator. Rooms are very clean and well appointed, and the breakfast fare was more than adequate. Just because they have air conditioning doesn't mean they'll let you use it (the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars--we were pretty hot our first night there). I'd definitely stay here again, provided the weather wasn't too warm.

A very good hotel
It was very nice hotel! I highly recommend it to anyone. There were all you need: good place, good shops, helpful personal, big and clean room. If I would be in Rome again, I stay at this hotel!
