ResortQuest Rentals at Grand Caribbean Condominiums - Destin

This was our first family vacation to Destin and we were extremely satisfied. The #214 unit was clean, close to the beach, balcony view of the ocean and just a quick drive to the stores and attractions. We highly recommend staying here and we would stay here again!!!

This place is truly a home away from home. They had everything there to cook with, entertainment for the family in the way of unlimited DVD rentals and quick access to the beach. It had a washer and dryer, great working appliances. The only thing you need to bring is food, coffee and filters, and your bathing suit! They even included some laundry detergent […] and dish soap. The staff at ResortQuest were very informative and nice. The room was very outdated at regards decorum. The beds were comfortable. I really like the full kitchen and the cleanliness of all rooms. The free DVD rental box was cool too although not many movies to choose from. The distance from the room to the beach was very pleasing. The jacuzzi and pool […] were great! The location of the condo building is great as it is halfway between the best things to do in Destin. Loved the convenience of keyless room, pool area, and not office checking out. For the price I paid for my stay I would have appreciated free internet (because of the high price I only used my phone) and a couple more rolls of toilet paper (only 2 provided for my 5 guests for 2 days). I was responsible for any extra toilet paper I needed which I was not pleased about, even if it was only a couple dollars. Only other thing I was very displeased about was the high-priced cleaning fee of $82. As much as we cleaned up after ourselves before check-out time (including their request to take all trash out and start the dish-washer) that fee is a ridiculous price. I have been the cleaning business for years and would only make that kind of money if I cleaned for 4 hours which it certainly would not take 4 hours to clean that little condo. I feel like that charge should be more of a security cleaning fee. For clean guests such as myself, that charge should be refunded. Only charge the people who leave the condo messy! Read more

The location of the hotel was great. Short walk to the beach. The coffee maker, and the toaster didn't work which was not good. Overall the stay was pleasant, but I would of liked to have all working appliances.

Everything was ok but the check-in and check-out policy is TERRIBLE!!! We had to wait so long!!! There should be a much earlier time to check in - we could not even get into our room until almost 5:00 PM.

It was ok.. Check in was kind of a pain.. Because we get to the condo and no one told us that we had to drive a few miles down the road to check in.. And then there was no one there when we got there..We didnt have a kitchen light the whole time we were there.. Other than that it was alright

Excellent location and plenty of room for family of 5. The room was clean, but the shower head did break on the first use. Loved the free movie rental for the kids in the evenings. Close to lots of shopping and food. Would definitely stay again.

We will stay here again however I will request that we are on third third floor because everytime the people upstairs moved we could here it and it was very loud. Didn't like the fact that er had to check in at a different location. Loved the washer and dryer.

We stayed in Destin Florida for our first time, actually, our first family vacation to the beach, and it was great. The condo was plenty spacious for our little family of four. The kids slept on the bunk beds in the hallway and our room had a king size bed, which was great. It also had a dish washer, washer and dryer, which was also great because it […] saved us money. Two things I wish was different was the size of the TV's and where to check-in. The TV's were pretty small. To check-in you do not go to the condo, it is a seperate building, not even a mile away so not too bad, but would have been nice to know when we reserved. The condo was very clean and had all cookwear!! Maybe a 1-2 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants not too far from our condo. Also, we were able to check in at 1:15 when we arrived there. We estimated a longer trip and got there alot sooner, so it worked out perfect. We will stay again and will refer people to stay. Read more

We had great time. The condo was way above my expectations. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more. The beach access was good. Plenty of chairs to rent but get there early for that. Great condo for the price. Will come back.

WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT, AFTER I SAW SEVERAL LARGE RATS RUNNING AROUND BY THE POOL I REQUESTED TO BE MOVED. ALSO THE MANAGEMENT AT THIS PROPERTY WAS AWFUL, WE KEPT BEING TOLD WE COULD NOT TALK OUTSIDE ON OUR BALCONY CAUSE IT WAS AFTER 10:00. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE AT THE SENIOR CITIZEN HOME!!!

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay with Resort Quest condo-Carribean East. The Condo was very cozy. It was located across the road from the beach. (literally could hold your breath from the front door to beach sand.) We had a rainy afternoon one day, but took advantage with our two free DVD rentals from Resort Quest and cuddled […] up on the couch. Highly recommend the restaraunt 3 blocks away (maybe 5 minute walk.) called 790. Beach was very clean. Condo was very clean. It was a major bonus to have a condo vs. a beach side hotel. We took advantage and made ourselves at home! Very relaxing stay--could have easily slept 6 people. Plus our condo was one of two who had drect balcony access to the private pool and spa! We checked in late, but it was fast and easy. Once we arrived at the condo we were amazed how close it was to the beach. It literally takes one minute to walk across the street, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly to pedestrians.
