The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. I booked a standard room with breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Basically, don't plan on having lunch because if you take advantage […] of breakfast you won't need it! Antipasti that included cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. Read more

We chose this hotel to get our daily swimming exercise in the huge swimming arena next door and still have easy access to the city centre by train and tram. Wonderful hotel with large rooms, spacious bathroom, and pleasing contemporary style. Satisfying service and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of foods. Location is relatively far east, but with excellent pubic transport connection (S-bahn and Tram stops nearby).

The only complaint was the buffet breakfast, although fantastic, they kept running out of waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. Two different days we had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to be refilled, other then that all the food was fabulous and a great assortment.

I stayed 5 days at the hotel and can't think of anything negative to report. The hotel-rooms, lobby, eating areas- were spotless and beautifully appointed. Although it was located a bit outside the center part of Berlin, the tram just outside the front door made a direct trip there every few minutes and there was also a train just across the street […] so getting everywhere was very easy. The breakfast which was included in the price, was a feast!! I have never seen so much food and so many kinds of food at a breakfast buffet. It was all freshly prepared and very tasty. for those leaving very early, there is a continental breakfast in the lobby beginning at 4AM!! One would expect much higher hotel rates for all this. The rooms were so well insulated that I didn't hear anyone in the hallways or in the adjoining rooms which made for a quiet and restful night's sleep. I got sick while I was there and they arranged for a physician to come to see me at the hotel and then called the room to offer any help - tea, bread, etc. That is unusually thoughtful personal service. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful with a good command of English. I will be returning to this hotel and hope you give it a try. Read more

I loved this place. The room was so nice I was initially scared to touch anything, it's conveniently located on the M6 light rail line, near the S-Bahn and two supermarkets, the concierge and front desk staff were very kind and helpful and the fitness centre and view from my window were icing on the cake. There was only two issues: Air Conditioning was really a problem within the conference (not within the rooms). The sky bar on the 14th floor is great, with large windows giving great views across the city while you relax with a cocktail or a cold beer. Andel's exceed my expectations and was great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only annoyance was a snapping sound from the walls at night. They were efficient and when we had to check out super early at 4am and couldn't make it for the 6.30am breakfast, they even made us a little lunchbox to take away to the airport.
