We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel is fine, great location, within historic center walls,next to Palise de Papes and close to restaurants. Our double room was comfortable, quiet and nice. Our only difficulty was finding the hotel. Our car GPS took us through undrivable, narrow streets and we had to park over a half a mil away.

Fri 20/7 - Sat 21/7 and Sat 4/8 - Sun 5/8This is the fourth time that we've stayed here. Everything seems to be a little more run down this year than in past years. The staff seem to be dressed more scruffily. We asked for a replacement light bulb for a bedside light (really important as there is no central light in the rooms) and they didn't have one. […] The light in the passage between the loo and bathroom kept on flickering. They agreed to give us breakfast early on 5/8 because of the distance we had to travel that day, saying that the full range on offer wouldn't be available. In fact so little was available (last night's left over bread wasn't tempting) that we decided to skip breakfast altogether. We're looking for a different hotel for next year's overnight stops as a result. Read more

Nous avons été désagréablement surpris par l'environnement extérieur de l'hôtel (proche cimetière et voie ferrée) mais heureusement la végétation à l'entrée de la propriété cache cet environnement. Le personnel est accueillant, Les chambres sont à l'extérieur de l'hotel, la notre fonctionnelle et calme assez confortable sans beaucoup de charme. Nous […] avons eu un doute sur la propreté du drap du dessous qui était froissé à une seule place du lit double. Bonne viennoiserie au petit déjeuner qui reste assez cher malgré tout lorsque nous ne prenons qu'un petit déjeuner continental. Cet établissement semble surtout réservé aux séminaires. Read more

Bon hôtel bien que la chambre mériterait une plus jolie décoration. La salle de bain est bien, le petit déjeuner très bien. Il n'y a la chambre qui fait trop cheap.

C'est un bon hôtel lorsqu'on fait une petite escapade. Autours, il n'y a pas grand chose. L'hôtel est en effet assez isolé, mais facile d'accès en voiture.
