Hotel Coralba - Casamicciola Terme

This small family run hotel was just what what we wanted, perched on a hill over looking the village and sea. Rooms have sharred balcony terrace with lounge chairs and tables. The most important asset to the hotel is Antonio, he and his family were very gracious and accomodating. He helped us plan our day trips with genuine love of the island. Speaking […] only 4 or 5 words of Italian, his english was very helpful. On our last night he, his brother and father made us a home cooked dinner that was one of the highlights of our trip. Antonio and his brother do everything they can to make your stay pleasurable. Real hospitality not a show. There is a great view from the balcony of the little port of Casmicciola to which there are ferries directly from Naples. They were one of the very few places in Ischia with a solid working internet. Ischia is lovely and getting round the island is easy by bus. The hotel is not up to scratch and not well maintained. It also seemed unprepared for tourists even though it was well into the Easter break.

Nel complesso si tratta di un'ottima soluzione. Antonio alla reception è davvero molto gentile e fornisce tutte le informazioni utili a chi è appena arrivato. è possibile prendere dalla reception una gran varietà di mappe e buoni sconto. Ottima la colazione e la struttura è ben mantenuta; l'unico neo consiste nel fatto che l'hotel non è vicinissimo […] al mare, ma ci si arriva dopo 10min a piedi. La camera è buona, quella che ci è capitata era con vista mare. è presente SKY in camera. Il bagno non è eccezionale: molto piccolo e con la doccia a ridosso del water... Dai commenti letti ci aspettavamo di trovare indubbiamente di meglio!! L'hotel è a conduzione familiare ed i proprietari, in particolar modo Antonio, sono molto cortesi e disponibili; nel complesso però l'albergo non ci è piaciuto affatto: le camere sono situate al primo piano di una strada senza marciapiede abbastanza trafficata di conseguenza la notte […] non è certo possibile dormire con la finestra aperta visto che macchine e pullman passano praticamente accanto alla finestra. La nostra camera (n.4) è molto spartana e il bagno lascia veramente a desiderare con un mobiletto senza luce funzionante (e tenuto insieme dallo scotch!), la doccia consistente in un flessibile con doccino appeso al muro, una grata antiscivolo sul pavimento in uno spazio così piccolo che la tenda una volta chiusa ingloba anche il wc. Per quanto riguarda il vitto non c'è un ristoraante vero e proprio ma giornalmente viene proposta la scelta tra due primi e due secondi; nel complesso cmq abbiamo mangiato discretamente; anche la colazione 'è accettabile. We felt welcome every minute. The hotel manager is very friendly and helpful. The ambition to serve the guest with advice such as places to see etc. is outstanding. We recommend this hotel to those that don't need luxury but want to be personally served and helped during the stay.
