Timber House Ao Nang - Krabi

Our family of 5 (children's ages 7, 9, & 11) stayed here for five nights in January 2012. We were very happy with the location (only a 10-minute walk to two different beaches and tons of restaurants), but were not happy with the services provided. First, we had arranged to be picked up by a taxi at the airport when we arrived, but after contacting the […] hotel from Krabi's airport were told that no taxis were available and that we should find an alternative route. This really wasn't a problem but we would have appreciated them telling us this from the beginning so that we could have been better prepared and understand our best options (wish we would have taken a taxi!). Second, my daughter and I scheduled a pedicure at the hotel and were really disappointed. The fee was 500 baht for 1 hour, even for an 11-year-old. We decided to go ahead and then discovered that the pedicure was simply painting toe nails (no massage) and lasted only 20 minutes (not 1 hour). Not quite what was advertised. The bottom line is that this is a clean hotel at a good price with a pool and in a good location to go adventuring. You don't really need the front office to help you as most people in the area speak English, but if you do like this type of help ... this is not the hotel for you. Read more

Everything was great with this hotel. Rooms were huge we had one by the pool. the service was the best we had in the entire time we were in Thailand and the pool was so inviting we even spent a day around that instead of hitting the beach. minibar was reasonably priced. they even supply towels for the bathroom and green ones to use at pool / beach. […] as you can tell I was well impressed with this hotel and would recomend it to anyone. We stayed here for three night and been upgraded to deluxe room at first night. Room are spacious and comfort. We found it convenient to get food or massage here. It very near to beach and not bad environment here. Service were just so so but acceptable.

The hotel has good customer service, great spacious room and good location to the beach. The only downside is no free WiFi in the rooms and while there is WiFi at the cafe, it does not work (during the duration of my stay anyway!!Overall, a recommnded place to stay!

It's clean and in good location. However, its double bed are made out of 2 single beds and hence not suitable for couples.It's also not comfortable because the 2 single beds slided. It has only basic facility and the room rates charged didn't give us "good value for our money".

Fine store rom, reinspikka og eit vakkert basseng og soleområde. Ligger i enden av hoved gå gaten, så rolig og stille om kvelden, ikkje bråk fra barer og gateliv. Aircondition på vårt rom bråket en del, men kan vere eit enkelt tilfelle på det rommet. Alt i alt, topp kvalitet,og ein god totalopplevelse for en så billig overnattings sum!!

Godt fornøyd med alt ved dette hotellet, hvis en skulle ønske seg noe i tillegg måtte det være litt mer å velge i for de som foretrekker vestlig stil på frokosten. Hadde bestilt to rom i superior-standard, det ene var ikke tilgjengelig ved ankomst og vi fikk i stedet gratis oppgradering til større rom.

Ett av de största hotellrummen på vår resa genom Thailand. Fint, relativt nyrenoverat skulle jag gissa på. Hade ett bra poolområde men saknade poolbar vilket drar ner betyget. Men läget var bra och det var enkelt att ta sig till båda stränderna.

Vi tycker hotellet var mycket trevligt och bekvämt. Mycket trevlig personal, utmärkt service. Vi fick rena handdukar varje dag, både vita för dusch och gröna för strand och pool. Ok frukost. Bra läge. Fint poolområde. Solstolarna räckte oftast för alla, men inte alltid. En halvtimmes taxiresa från hotellet.

Emme pyytäneet aamupalaa, mutta hotelli oli itsenäisesti tehnyt meille aamupalan boksiin mukaan; […] todella herkullinen kanaleipä ja banaani :-) Aamupalalla paistettiin munat ja munakas omien toiveiden mukaiseksi. Esitteessä luvattiin, että siellä on kylpytakit kaikille käytössä, niitä ei kyllä ollut. Oli kuitenkin ylimääräiset pyyhkeet rannalle tai uima-altaalle. アオナンを中心にアイランドホッピングでチキン島やホン島などのツアー、ライレイビーチへ行くのに便利だと思います。しかし、ホテルの快適に過ごすことがメインの方にはおすすめしません。レストランはなく（休業してたのかもしれません）、朝食もルームサービスでベランダや室内でとります。周囲にレストランなどありますのであまり気になりません。深水1.3mの10m角のプールもあります。 今回ファミリールームに泊まりましたが、キングサイズベット２個で快適なスペースと可愛らしい内装で楽しませてくれました。他の部屋はわかりません。印象として小さい感があります。 １つ難点をいえば、シャワーがでなかったり、トイレの水が流れなかったりします。（私が直しました） 英語が話せないスタッフもいますが、親切です。

Очень красивый, зелёный отель, на территории есть детская площадка, бассейн, массажный салон (спа), бассейны (детский и взрослый), ресторан. Жили в двухспальном люксе (5 взрослых + 1 младенец). Из быт.техники в номере: ЖК ТВ, полноценный холодильник, микроволновка, чайник, фен. Просторная ванная комната с душевой кабиной и большой ванной. Большой балкон. […] Все вопросы персоналом отеля решались по первому требованию. Единственный минус - завтрак в номере по предварительному заказу из ограниченного количества продуктов (блюд), но видимо это ввиду небольшого количества постояльцев во время нашего заезда (не сезон).
