"Grreat hotel if you dont like sleeping"
Do not stay here if you intend to sleep. Were buzzed every 5-10 min. with low flying aircraft traveling directly over the hotel. Now, I understand my folly and was reasonably acceptable of the airplane situation- being 4km away from the airport. The main problem is the the hotel is located in a type of residential community. Our hotel room was actually […] an old apartment and we were surrounded by other people who lived in this building -not overnight guest. Since this was not a traditional hotel where people generally check in to have aplace to sleep, we found ourselves in the middle of a locals all night, wall vibrating, people screaming party. Long story short, we checked out of the hotel and went ans slept at the airport where believe it ot not was quieter. On a side note, the room was clean but there was several items left over from the previous guest left in the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"/A once-nice hotel bites the dust"
I have stayed here for four years but the quality has gone down considerably in the past two years or so. The rooms are dirty, light bulbs are out in many parts of the room, showers are broken, refrigerators not cleaned out, etc. The decor has been "renovated" but when decorations were removed from the walls, big chunks of adhesive are left exposed. […] Walls are dirty with black marks and have pieces of plaster missing. The WiFi only works in some rooms - those closest to the office - and is weak overall. On my last stay the pillowcases were dirty and there were very few dishes and pots and pans in the kitchen. There were, however, 14 ice cube trays - but that doesn't make up for the lack of a coffee cup or a saucepan. Overall the maintenance is poor and complaints don't seem to result in any action. I will not be coming back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"More of a 2 star"
This hotel is in a neighborhood close to the airport which means you get to hear the planes right overhead. The decor is right out of the '60s. The staff were nice, but I would not use this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Avoid this hotel"
The information on Hotels.com website does not, in any way, represent this hotel. There is no bar/lounge. The common area for wi-fi is the lobby which is a 10x12 room with the recepionist's desk and a sagging love seat. There are no restaurants near by. It is a residential neighborhood with no sidewalks. If you don't have a car you are stuck and can't […] get food for the kitchenette. The "shuttle" is simply a taxi. It was 40 degrees F and we had no heat. "Airport hotel in Rome"
After checking in to the room to get some sleep before flying the next morning, had to call the front desk to ask for a different room due to the smell of cigarette smoke - it was causing headaches. The night staff person was very quick to get us changed, but it was a bit of an inconvenience especially with having to go outside to get to different rooms. The […] continental breakfast area was less than glamorous and the available product seemed to be mostly just vending machine food. Location from airport was very convenient, though the hotel felt like it was hidden in some back neighborhood off the main street. Since the only purpose for this room was to be close to the airport, and we were only there for about 9-10 hours, it wasn't worth being too upset about. Sorry for the negative comments, staff seemed very courteous and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just for a night's stay before a flight"
Wifi was pathetic, no signal in my room, and horribly slow standing outside. The guy at the reception was kind enough to let us use a computer to check-in and print my boarding pass, but forget about using Wifi in your room. Hot water ran out half way during the shower, had to bathe in cold water. Room had AC but no heating. Room has no phone, had to […] walk down every time to talk to reception staff. Only positive factors - clean room, comfortable bed, helpful guy at front desk. Stay here only if it is just for one night to catch a flight out of FCO airport and if you get a good rate. "Middle of nowhere."
Shuttle service from airport was at 4pm only could not wait all day so took a cab which cost 20 euro even though it was only 5 mins away. The phone in the room was not working & there was no money exchange. Location was very inconvenient & amenities were none.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to airport"
This hotel was very convenient to the airport. It is located in a mostly residential neighborhood, but has a couple restaurants within walking distance which were quite good and moderately priced. The room was clean, but the shower apparatus needed some help to function properly. "Clean, simple and close to the airport"
The Inn was nice. I'd probably stay here again if I had an early flight out of FCO. My only complaint is the WiFi didn't work in my room and we were directly over the office in room 14. So, while it wasn't awful to have to sit outside or in the lobby, it just would have been better in the comfort of my room. They have an elevator. Breakfast is simple […] stuff. The shuttle to/from the airport is 6 Euro per person which is a little cheaper than a taxi (15Euro) but it only picks up at the airport after 4pm. And to save you time, you get taxis into Fiumicino right outside terminal 2 in front of Parking lot D (you have to cross the road and go to the parking lot). The other taxis only want to take people to Rome. The sea is about a 2km walk from the hotel and there is a fruit market and pizzeria at the end of the street. I'd recommend the little pizzeria, Pizza A Taglio. They were so nice! They gave our toddler stuff we didnt order and they really tried to help us out. It was also very affordable. One note, take mosquito repellent!!! I got 12, no exaggeration!, mosquito bites on my ankles (my only exposed skin) within 30 minutes of being in Fiumicino. They're everywhere!! Also, nothing is open in the area on Sunday. Seriously, nothing but some pizzerias if it's the right time. So just a little thing to remember-- also, taxis tried to charge 20 euro to/from the airport because it was Sunday. Hope this review helps! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent hotel close to the airport."
Rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and is mid to low scale residential, not commercial (but there are lots of barking dogs). Overhead jets are occasionally very loud, but this is not a problem after 10-11 pm or so. Staff was very helpful. Standard continental breakfast included. Shuttle van (6 euros) from the airport […] to the hotel is very difficult to find outside Terminal 3, and is shared with other hotels, so it may fill up leaving you stranded with taxi as the only other option. Shuttle service (6 euros) from the hotel to the airport is much easier to arrange if you notify the hotel in advance. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We stayed here due to an early (6:30) flight out of Rome. The room met our needs but was nothing special. The lighting was poor and the internet did not work at all from the room. "Good for basic hotel"
The website said free shuttle to the airport Not so and when we called at 11am to have the shuttle get us at the airport we were told to get a cab. The breakfast buffet is marginal. In quality. The cleaning lady was outstanding. The door key needs instructions -- it is tricky, especially to the jet lagged.Genuine Expedia guest review

Staff was OK in rendering assistance. Room was OK, but we had better rooms in all others hotels we visited this trip. Sound isolation was really poor - heard both aircraft landing/takeoff until about 23:00, as well as other guests arriving departing all through hours of the night Breakfast was appalling in terms of the quality of the food stuff; the […] breakfast area was poorly lit at 06:00-06:30, and one could not really see the food stuff very well (maybe that's a plus).. "Nice Hotel, off the beaten path"
This was a very nice place to rest our heads to catch an early flight the next morning. The room was on par with most places in Italy and was very clean. It is located about 5km away from the airport, but in an actual residential neighborhood. Very nice, kids playing outside, no signs of trouble. Keep in mind, this hotel is in Fiumicino, NOT ROME, leading […] to my next statements. I know this shouldn't have much bearing on the rating, but the TV was probably 10" and didn't have a single English speaking channel. I only mention this because, as stated before, we were staying the night before taking a flight. There isn't much to do in the local neighborhood after dinnertime (the local restaurant was incredible, BTW), and the WiFi didn't work in the room we were staying in, which made it difficult to kill time. The hotel wasn't as nice as the pictures I had seen for sure. Once inside, there were hairs in the bed sheets. The hotel is very close to the airport, but far out from everywhere in Rome. I stayed here because I had an early morning flight and I wanted to be close to the airport. "Not what we expected"
I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a shuttle. After the surprisingly expensive cab ride to get there and the even more expensive shuttle for three of us to get back to the airport the next morning, I wish I had sprung for a more expensive hotel closer to the airport. Our room was run down and we were told the beach was […] one kilometer away. We must have gone in the wrong direction or something because there's no way it was one kilometer. "Locals don't know where this simple/clean place is"
Be ready to spend 30-40 Euros by taxi(the more reasonable white colored ones) to get here from FCO, just a few km. from the airport, as the hotel has ONE transfer to there at 3:45PM. "I" took a bus from near Terminal 3 (less than 2 Euros)and had quite an adventure as the drivers didn't know which bus to take or where this place was. There are roadside […] ads but no qualifiers(e.g "2 blocks away on right"). Getting off the bus the locals didn't know where it was either, though it turned out to be a 2 blocks away from a roadside ad THERE(and I WAS asking in Italian). The desk suggested the area/streets is new...The only other points is that the rooms are not resistant to sound coming from the walkway outside, so late arriving guests may wake you. Also, the clerk collected a 2 Euro "city tax" upon departure(at 4 am). Overall, if the hotel does not improve it's access to transfers, one may want to consider applying the 60-80 Euros for taxis to an airport hotel on site or one that has a shuttle. Good Location, good people, very good room with kitchen, balcony in residential area. Areas of improvement could be a) to carry tea bags as there was no way to make hot tea. The coffee machine only makes lemon tea apart from cappaccino, etc... Overall breakfast was not very good. It was ok, possibly each room/apartment comes with kitchen, fridge etc. […] The receptionist got confused about our headcount and doubted us while checking out and paying city tax of E2/person.
